@themdarncowboys @HPbasketball We are as good as locked into the 6 seed. Houston has to drop 2 of 3 non Minnesota games and Minnesota needs to win out. Seems unlikely for how ugly it is here

Wolves seemed destined for the sixth seed at this point. Only a matter of who they play, Lakers or Nuggets. The priority has to be getting Edwards, McDaniels and Naz as close to healthy as possible.

I’d like to know too. We asked to interview Edwards after Friday’s game and he declined (as he often does when he doesn’t play well). I was told by a few people the reason he missed Thursday’s game was due to illness more than the knee. Then he played on Friday, in the midst of recovering from the illness and presumably the knee injury. Today the injury report says he’s out with the knee.
The Wolves are also in a situation where it can be argued that losing today’s game could be advantageous. So that’s another variable to consider when it comes to Edwards playing.
We don’t get to know everything. All we get is the information we can find.

Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Charlotte. Edwards missed Thursday’s game with an illness after previously returning from an absence due to knee inflammation. Then he came back and played on Friday, recovered enough from the illness to play. But now, for Sunday’s game, Edwards injury designation is again the knee inflammation.
