“If I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous Revolution that swallowed up some sixty million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: ‘Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.’” #Solzhenitsyn

@anttsinc The KJV wasn’t using the oldest reliable Greek manuscripts. That verse is said in another verse Mark 9:29. They updated the text using the oldest most authoritative manuscripts, it was later excluded.

@JohnMur26152770 @DrAlmarielao That’s the nature of tornadoes. It’s crazy even after growing up with them as regular seasonal weather. As James Spann says, “Respect the polygon” 😉

@FiliaChristi22 @DrAlmarielao We was hit in 2024. Took my shed, my fence, some damage to the house but not bad. However it leveled 2 houses 2 blocks over and five houses down. Took every tree in the neighborhood and our 12 pines.

Two men see a tornado comming on their direction in the distance and realize it’s heading. With almost no time to react, they run into a nearby garage and hide in a small closet at the back. Seconds later the tornado tears through the area. The garage is badly damaged, the shed is gone, trees in the nearby forest are snapped or uprooted, and even a car has been moved from where it was parked. Somehow, the two men walk out shaken but alive. Moments like this show how unpredictable tornadoes can be. When seconds count, people often have to make split-second decisions with whatever shelter is nearby. Surviving something that powerful in a simple garage closet feels incredibly lucky and a reminder of just how dangerous these storms can be. If you suddenly saw a tornado heading toward you with only seconds to react, what would you do, run into the nearest building like they did, try to get underground, or attempt to drive away?

Dude, you obviously have no commons sense. Most often there isn’t time to get to a shelter or fire station and aren’t wanting to drive in a hail storm and run the risk of being on the road. We would be in the basement of her house while listening to the weather radio when she would say that jackass

@FiliaChristi22 @DrAlmarielao Sounds like indoctrination. Because God thinks your house is better than the fire station over the meditation of 'prayer'. Fuck your grandma. Zero sensibility.

@kelly_turnbull1 @DrAlmarielao Can’t do anything about an F4-F5. Had an F5 hit AL in 2011 and killed 20. We get F5’s about every 20yrs and follows the same track from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham. It’s always better to be in the basement if you have one. I’ve seen a tornado skip houses. We get them often.

This movie’s analogy on propaganda is more apropos than I could’ve ever imagined when it originally released. I was 15 at the time and hits harder now that I have a 15yr old daughter trying to make sure she understands how to identify propaganda. Not all propaganda is bad but you need to know when you’re being propagandized

In order to be born, you needed: 2 parents 4 grandparents 8 great-grandparents 16 second great-grandparents 32 third great-grandparents 64 fourth great-grandparents 128 fifth great-grandparents 256 sixth great-grandparents 512 seventh great-grandparents 1,024 eighth great grandparents 2,048 ninth great-grandparents For you to be born today from 12 previous generations, you needed a total of 4,094 ancestors over the last 400 years. Think for a moment: How many struggles? How many battles? How many difficulties? How much sadness? How much happiness? How many love stories? How many expressions of hope for the future? – did your ancestors have to undergo for you to exist in this present moment...

The whole point behind what Charlie Kirk did was to open dialogue and thought on College campuses. Universities used to be the foundational place where young adults could debate ideas and hone their critical thinking skills and engage in different ideas. He realized that those institutions were captured and no longer advocated for free speech, open dialogue or discerning views. He was going to the source of the disease that has infected all Western countries whose foundation was built on the principles of freedom of speech (thought) in which the whole point is to be able to have open dialogue/debates on different ideas.

❤️ that you referenced an important philosophical/theological point of Schaefer ; “If there is no absolute moral standard, then one cannot say in a final sense that anything is right or wrong. By absolute we mean that which always applies, that which provides a final or ultimate standard. There must be an absolute if there are to be morals, and there must be an absolute if there are to be real values. If there is no absolute beyond man’s ideas, then there is no final appeal to judge between individuals and groups whose moral judgements conflict. We are merely left with conflicting opinions.” If you know his work, you are grounded in true Christian faith. I only say that bc there are too many on here that don’t have that solid presuppositional grounding when it comes to apologetics. Heartfelt respect.

@lady_valor_07 Yes, she was a hardcore woman that lived through WW1 and the Great Depression while raising two young daughters and stayed by her husband after he was disabled during WW1. I feel blessed for knowing her and hearing her story directly from her.

@Debatingfanatic @ZubyMusic His point was that sick people are using it as an excuse to do whatever they want without regard of consequences or the hurt they cause others.

@ZubyMusic If someone with severe depression attacks a friend verbally due to not being understood, should they get the benefit of the doubt? Is it ok if they say I’m sorry? Do they have I’m sorry say it in the first place?

Yes, I could only describe it as an ozone smell. The air is muggier and denser which has a distinctly different smell to it rather than an aired lighter smell. But I live in the Southern US where it could change from one hour to another, so it’s a constant shift in the air that helps recognize the change in smell.

@TRHLofficial The real problem isn't the filibuster. It’s senators hiding from votes. If you want to block a bill, stand there, talk, and own it. Democracy requires a spine.

Insanity. This is the city that was hit by Islamic radicals on 9/11, the first attack on a civilian population within the US and was the epicenter of the +20yrs war that so many of our nation’s soldiers fought and died to protect against (and especially the first responders who died NYC that day). For those people that don’t realize he’s a radical Islamist that is trying to destroy us from within, you’re drinking the koolaid that will kill our country. He is a political communist but a religious zealot, which is the worst combination imaginable for humanity. Sorry not sorry for speaking the truth.

As a debater, you learn to run out the clock if you can’t defend all your statements within the time given. That’s all he was doing for majority of his debates and what she used against him, trying to use up the clock. She was using that debating tactic against him in order for her point to be the most dominant whether he could counter or not.
