I hate weasils so much. If anything has made me want to give up on having birds, it's those bastards.
Not recently but twice they killed have the flock (ducks/geese). Which isn't even the worst part, its how they maim the rest. Then you have to individually decide who may survive and who should be culled.
It is not a good feeling to cull a bird that may have survived, or to spare a bird that then ends up suffering and perishing a couple of days later.
Oddly I have found chickens to be safer from weasils. I guess they get too busy with the ducks that they forget to look up at the chickens.

@ThatSpringerNH @KingLibertarian I would disagree that their activism was ineffective. It got national media attention, which got my attentionand then I moved. So it's more difficult to measure.
But the downside with Keene is it is physically separate from much of the FSP, geographically speaking.

@KingLibertarian Keene is more lefty, Manchester more righty. Keene used to have a bad reputation (IMO) for ineffective / counter-productive political activism, but that has calmed down in recent years. Really depends on your interests.

We are creatures. Finite, fallen, and prone to self-deception. What right do we have to pride in ourselves? If there is anything worth lifting high, it is only this: that a holy God, who owes us nothing, loves us still. And even then, "joy" is the truer word. Pride implies we earned it.
What the world calls Pride this month is exactly that: pride. The worldly glory in themselves and in behavior Scripture plainly calls sin. What could be more degenerate than flaunting one's unregenerate state before the world? They claim freedom while praising the very sin that enslaves them. That is not liberation. That is a very old lie dressed in new colors.
But there is something real waiting on the other side of repentance. A freedom that doesn't need a month. A love that doesn't need your performance. Turn from the counterfeit. Humble yourself before Christ the Lord, and taste what the world is desperately trying to imitate.
