WATCH: Wow! Trump-appointed @NIH Director @DrJBhattacharya lied to @LoomerUnleashed and @thecharlesdowns today outside of the NATCON conference as he was walking in to give his speech. We confronted him about NIH extending Dr. Fauci’s animal testing grants and issuing tens of millions of dollars in new grants that fund testing on dogs, cats and primates, even though he & his so-called ‘animal testing czar’ @NKleinstreuer said they’re phasing animal testing out & the problem “predates” them. @WhiteCoatWaste has the receipts. Bhattacharya told us, “we aren’t doing animal testing.” Then, when we gave Bhattacharya the benefit of the doubt and asked him for proof, he said, “I don’t have time for this.” I love animals, and most Americans love animals too. Animals are pure and deserve our protection from cruel and inhumane, taxpayer funded tests on animals. Most Americans oppose animal testing too. The questions we asked the @NIH Director today are important questions. I don’t think President @realDonaldTrump is going to take too kindly to one of his tax payer funded Cabinet heads lying and saying he doesn’t have time to talk about cutting wasteful animal testing at NIH.  Cutting spending at NIH and holding Fauci accountable are top priorities for President Trump’s administration. President Trump made animal cruelty a FELONY in 2019 via an executive order. Animal cruelty in government labs should also be classified as felony animal cruelty.
