In the US most people don't work for large for-profit corps. They work for themselves, small businesses, non-profit orgs or govt. Those that work for large for-profit corps do so by choice. Voluntary exchange.

Neither nation is under economic siege, but I would say the US would benefit from being more capitalist (like Switzerland). The US has too much govt-corp collusion preventing competition, which is anti-capitalist.
