Perhaps the biggest advantage the #Steelers will have next year is that teams can't look at film anymore and predict what the team will do each week. New staff. New approaches. Changes to schemes. Teams won't know so much what to expect pre-snap every week. That- beyond change in players - is going to be very big for a team that got stale and predictable schematically.

I hope every single Pitt fan who is rooting for Allar to fail stays on that side if he succeeds. The things they say about him is wild, a lot of them speak bad on him even outside of football when he’s done nothing to deserve that.

Nobody knows what’s happening with Rodgers…but Drew Allar might be the most fascinating part of this whole Steelers situation. The flashes are special but the inconsistencies are frustrating. If he develops the right way, this gets VERY interesting.

@JamesSurowiecki It’s a good way to learn the names of guys you might not know. Reading “Mock Drafts” are a waste of time though. The Kiperites playing GM have little to no idea what teams are looking for in the draft.

If it weren't of any real use, then the consensus board would not be a good forecaster of future NFL value. But it is essentially as good as the NFL draft order itself.

@JohnDalyBooks Obama was extremely, needlessly partisan in ways that most of his voters simply cannot see. His "I'm post-partisan, and against attack politics, unlike my evil opponents who want you all to die," shtick seemed to raise no partisan flags with his supporters. But it was there.

Folks, I'm well aware that Trump is on an entirely different level (I've argued that for over a decade). But the incapacity of so many Obama fans, to understand how even very Trump-critical people like me can find Obama needlessly partisan and polarizing, is stunning.
