I've been holding back on this, but I'm just gonna let loose... So many of these "protestors" here in Asheville NC have had their lives DRAMATICALLY improved by President Trump. Trump's FEMA resolved 80% of ALL open Hurricane Helene cases Biden left sitting 116 days... in 5 DAYS. Trump's DOT gave nearly $2 BILLION to fix roads and bridges in WNC, which is the largest Emergency Relief allocation in federal highway history. Trump's DOT reopened I-40 in 5 months. Everyone said it would take years. Trump's HUD approved $1.4 billion for Helene housing recovery so fast that even Democrat Governor Josh Stein publicly thanked him for it. Trump's USDA delivered $221 million directly to WNC farmers who lost everything. Trump gave NC 6 full months of 100% federal cost coverage — one of the longest in FEMA history. The same people driving on rebuilt roads, drinking clean water, living the comeback... are out here protesting the man who made most of it happen. JUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! It's not that hard. He knew you hated him before the storm. He knew that when he landed in Asheville. And guess what? HE SHOWED UP AND HELPED YOU ANYWAYS!!!!!! And today you grabbed your little sign and costumes, got in your little Subaru, you drove on those rebuilt roads, over those rebuilt bridges, passed rebuilt houses and rebuilt parks, to protest a man who helped your city. You look stupid, out of touch, and insanely ungrateful.

This post resonates in my soul. Our daughter passed Thursday. 51, 4 beautiful children. I am suffering a pain that I know you share. There’s no greater pain. I have not slept, asking ‘why’? She was a VA nurse, always helping others. She was diagnosed 2 mos. ago with pancreatic cancer. I didn’t get to say goodbye. I know your pain, your overwhelming guilt. I can only believe our beautiful babies have been called as angels. I will pray for your peace as I know it will not be easy. I am so very sorry for your loss. I truly am. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

March 29, 2025. My 36-year-old baby girl passed away. She wasn’t feeling well for several weeks and we took her from Dr. to Dr. and they couldn’t find anything. She stayed with me March 28 because I’m a firefighter EMT and she knew daddy could help her if anything happened. I woke up in the morning, heard raspy breathing in the other room. I saw her and called her name and she wasn’t responsive and I had to do CPR on my own daughter. The ambulance arrived, shocked her with the AED several times. When my ex and my son-in-law and myself got to the hospital they told us we lost her. My heart is forever broken. I asked God that night to take me and let her live so she could live and raise her two boys, but he wasn’t making deals that night. 30+ years as a firefighter I was able to help and save so many people, but I couldn’t save my baby girl. I’m so sorry I failed you… everyone tells me I did everything I could. But I didn’t save you…it wasn’t enough…. we’re not supposed to outlive our children. I miss her so much every day, especially when I see my grandkids. It is so unfair. She did nothing wrong. God…. Please… tell me why??? I live with this pain every day. Please tell me why….. you are my daughter, my angel, my baby girl had my best friend friend friend. I miss you every day forever. Every daddy out there that has a baby girl. Please give them an extra hug. I would give anything to be in your shoes. 🥹😔💔🙏🏻

There is no greater pain than the loss of a child. Our beautiful daughter, my best friend, lost her battle with cancer last night. We are numb, broken, angry. Hold your loved ones close. We only had 3 months to fight. I miss her so - 😪
