#OTD in #SteelersHistory 1958 the Sun-Telegraph questioned if moving the #Steelers to a larger stadium would improve the organization's revenue. Unfortunately for the organization the '58 season played in Pitt Stadium would bring improvement on the field but not at the gate.

In 1929 Grange rejoined the Bears and would make his come back as a straight-ahead runner; earning All-Pro honors in 1930 and '31. Red retired from playing after the 1934 season. Because of Grange major sportswriters began to seriously report on pro football for the first time.

In 1927 relations were repaired and Red Grange and his NY Yankees were accepted into the NFL. On 10-16, against the Bears, Red suffered an injury to his knee. The damage was permanent. He would miss the rest of 1927 and the entire 1928 season. Without Grange the Yankees folded.
