As I somewhat humorously commented in my reply, I think the whole "gray man" thing - which I used to buy into - is vastly overrated. I ditched my laptop bag and brought my old ALICE pack back to life - upgraded with a MOLLE II suspension, it's now my primary GHB.

FYI; they argued that a) only the executive branch could deem something as misinformation and the courts or congress had no jurisdiction to over rule them, and b) misinformation was anything the executive branch believed made the government's goals harder to achieve.
