the need for validation and recognition (among creators especially) is at an all time high as a result of social media, which means you need to practice receiving criticism without collapsing and receiving praise without inflating but more importantly you need to build real relationships where you are actually known and not performing, ragebaiting, or being a controversial/political for approval until then, there is no authenticity

@Tim_Denning Saturation is a myth told by people who tried and stopped. The only real ceiling is your own quit date.

Saturated markets don’t exist. 99% of people suck at what they do, and if they ever good, they’ll still likely quit too soon or get frustrated. The only competition is you versus you. You versus who you were last year.

A weird belief I hold true... You can tell if someone is going to win by the light in their eyes. Most people will try to snuff it out of you.

The creators who last aren't the most talented. They're the most consistent. And consistency doesn't come from motivation — it comes from systems.

@jonbrosio And that frightened version never shuts up. It just gets quieter when you prove it wrong enough times. The game isn't winning once. It's winning the vote every single morning.

In the end The people who've built lives they love didn't have more talent. They weren't luckier. They weren't smarter or more gifted. They just refused to let the loudest, most frightened version of themselves make the final call. That's the enitre game.

@paulg Started reading my old tweets out loud. Cringed at how many made sense only to me. Now I have a rule: if my friend doesn't get it in one read, I rewrite. My engagement doubled. Clarity is a relationship, not a skill.

The most important component of writing clearly is simply to have high standards for clarity. Then if you write something unclear, you notice, and ask: what did I mean to say? You can just keep doing this over and over. And if you have high standards for clarity, you will.

Most businesses don’t need more ideas. They need better execution, clearer systems, and consistent delivery over time.

@Codie_Sanchez Monk mode isn't dumb. It's a tool. Deep work builds the product. Face-to-face sells it. The real dumb thing? Thinking only one way works. Do both. Just not at the same time.

Monk mode is the single dumbest thing I've heard in my entire existence. If you want to make more money and change your life you should do the opposite of that... Leave your house. Meet people face to face. I can attribute most of the success in my life to getting outside.

Most content creators don't have a system. They have chaos with a posting schedule. That's why they burn out, go quiet for 3 weeks, and start over. A Notion template won't fix your ideas. But it will fix your execution.

@jonbrosio The work when nobody cares is the down payment on the day everyone notices. Most people refuse to pay.

The hardest part of building something from nothing isn't the work. It's doing the work when nobody's watching, reading, buying, engaging, subscribing, collaborating, or caring yet. But it's that work that makes all the difference
