NEW: First time a CDC Director went on record about chronic Lyme, a scandal & coverup for which they are largely responsible, along w @IDSAInfo & NIH. He treats for much longer than sham IDSA guidelines. They rec a few weeks of doxy which leaves a large % of people w ongoing infections that turn into autoimmune, psych & neuro diseases. Follow the 💰. He acknowledges that tick bites often deliver multiple pathogens —other than Lyme —in the same bite, WHICH DO NOT ALL RESPOND TO DOXY. He treats Lyme+ with 3 antibiotics upfront for 60 days, doesn’t rely on the garbage blood tests for Lyme+ that miss over 50% of cases. Clinical diagnosis is king. Immediate treatment is key to preventing longterm issues. His protocol prob would’ve prevented heart failure etc in my case of undertreated Lyme. Undertreated acute Lyme causes it to become chronic.
