the uncanny valley is the point. pirate clark is meant to look just close enough but not quite like clark, compared to the other still lifes which look so much more off.

The Backrooms movie was a 3/10.
Im honestly really upset. What a betrayal of the fandom that made the Backrooms phenomenon popular in the first place. No almond water, no levels, no unique and interesting entities. The whole movie just takes place on level 1, because the boomer who directed this didn't even understand more than the surface level. Disgusting movie.

@featherleafern a sort of healing potion in every level, and they just keep adding more and more and more and the originality can only work for so long, after so many levels you just end up with copys 2/2

@featherleafern Theyre not strict enough, from what I remember theres a shit ton of copy pasted levels with just reskin, or ones that are just bullshit
Plus the whole thing with almond water? Isnt it just a thing about cyanide puddles that smelled like almonds that turned into 1/2
