Race is fundamentally more 'on a spectrum' than sex. There infinitely more biracial and mixed-race individuals than intersex individuals. If you want to play the progressive game, culture is to race what gender is to sex. If they argue that race is what society uses as the metric and not culture, than it follows that sex is what society uses as the metric and not gender. Let's go further with age. Everyone has transitioned from all their younger ages to their current age. If they can transition to an older age, why can they not transition back to a younger age, an age they already have been, and can intimately 'identify' with? Surely someone can know with more certainty that they 'feel' a certain age which they've already been compared to 'feeling' like a gender they've never been. Let's go to height. We've all transitioned from shorter heights to the height we are now. Why can we not identify as shorter? Let's go to weight. Why can we not identify as lighter?

Recently, I had occasion to revisit the shameful behaviour of some in academia in 2017. A young academic, Rebecca Tuvel, published a paper in the feminist journal Hypatia: 'In Defense of Transracialism'. The gist is: if you accept that people can identify into the other sex class, then we also have to accept that people identify into another race (white into black; black into white). Tuvel was pro-trans, but the baying mob realised that the logic of her paper was a huge threat for Trans Theory. Tuvel was hounded. I see where you're coming from, and I agree with the sentiment. Most conservatives and right leaning people have a very "live and let live" mindset, or a "just want to be left alone" one. It was especially true up here in Canada, where the leftist ideology had infected far more institutions than America, and we can see how that has ended up. I agree that the right and conservatives need to switch from pure defense to active advocacy. And there are many individuals who started to do just that. Charlie Kirk being one of the best and most effective. Which is why the left had to murder him.

I partially disagree. As an organizational thing, the left has plenty of people embedded in the legal, financial, and business world to go to battle. Small to medium size businesses with no ties to the government are going to be conservative most of the time. Turn that into a large corporation and suddenly, liberal board members all over the place. Look at all the Big tech libs that are now trying to kiss ass. But conservatives have to fight the battle for the public schools if for no other reason, not to give up. I get the homeschoolers and school choice folks, but that is not "resistance" and we at least need to think like that if we are going to survive.
