I agree with this. I’m super high on Castle but I think there could be some ugly offensive nights in the playoffs and we are gonna need Fox to hit pull up J’s

Fox is the real X Factor in the playoffs for the Spurs to me cuz I do think they will need him to step up at times when the All Lives Matter offense don’t work cuz I don’t think Castle is there yet as an offensive player

@joelvmoran My thing is that when the offenses get stuck in the mud, I probably trust SGA to hit mid range pull-ups and step back 3s more than I do fox or the Spurs to manufacture good offense

This is the last test of the season imo. Try to get 60 and see how you stack up vs a healthy Nuggets team. I think 1 seed is out of reach with the way OKC is playing. I don’t expect much the last 4 games.

There were Tony Parker trade rumors as late as 2011! There was real noise about George Hill replacing him! I remember rumors in 2009 as well, when it was clear Washington was trading their pick (became Ricky Rubio).

This says ALOT in my opinion. I take this as Fox being grateful that spurs gave him a max so he’s fine putting any ego/numbers aside to help castle and Harper grow and help winning basketball. He’s very secure and mature in who he is as a player.

@jasehoops There’s tons of room for internal improvement too with how young they are. The thunder and spurs really are all time great teams in my opinion and are gonna be on a collision course the next 5-7 years

the scary thing is their room for external improvement is massive! Wemby will be on a relatively team friendly deal for another 6 seasons and Castle and Harper won’t need extensions for another 2–3 years. on top of that Barnes and Olynyk are expiring

Our 3 guards have been absolute monsters tonight. We were wrong to question the fit because these guys are so unselfish and versatile. They can impact the game in so many ways, so these guys complement each other. It’s not like your pairing Trae young and Ja morant together
