@JimmytheHunj @NovusOrdoWatch My opinions: (1) The documents of Vatican II should have been more precise in their wording. (2) The big mistake in the aftermath of Vatican II (I lived through it) was the Pope and hierarchy should have offered BOTH Masses in every parish church in Latin and the vernacular.

@iam_shwa @WhiteRosePapist Nice strawman. What's next, "Don't you believe in priests being happy?" Since I'm not Novus Ordo, our priest firstly makes a thanksgiving after Mass, then greets people afterwards (in his cassock), having already removed his vestments prior.

@iam_shwa @WhiteRosePapist If you think religion is all about subjective feeling & levity and that the bishop is there simply as a man of the people, then certainly. A prelate goes to the sacristy after Mass to unvest, so unless this "mass" took place in a field, that's nonsense.

@iam_shwa @WhiteRosePapist That's a real stretch in the application of the precept our Lord was teaching. Nobody was criticising the "bishop" for playing football, but rather for doing so in vestments intended for the sanctuary. He could have quite easily removed them. To state this isn't Pharisaical.

Despite the fact that Bishop Pivarunas has gone above and beyond to rid the CMRI of Shuckhart's legacy and to never be cult-like again.

People don't realize: CMRI didn't originate from the Church. None of the original members had any formal formation or training. They get their "credibility" by simply being "sedevacantist". Then they go disparaging other traditionalists.

Just arrived at Mary Immaculate Queen Church in Omaha where we will have two new priests and two deacons ordained tomorrow morning from Mater Dei Seminary. They will not be "sacrament machines." They will be pastors of souls, truly caring for souls with whatever mission and jurisdiction is necessary granted from Christ by the tacit will of the Popes as willed by Christ. Lest souls should perish! So many memories here. I was ordained here almost 23 years ago. O bone Jesu, fac ut sint sacerdotes secundum Cor tuum!

@NovusOrdoWatch I attend TLM every Sunday, and I believe the this Mass should be offered as an option at every parish church. However, we cannot turn back the clock. Things change over time. The first Mass - instituted by the Lord Jesus in the Upper Room - was nothing like the TLM.

@Patriotforheavn @BVMConsolatrix Again, I didn't criticise the Sister's piety. I was pointing out that the cult-origin of the CMRI clearly left a mark. Even if expressed as a merely private opinion, it doesn't serve to exonerate the exponent of said opinion of error.

@EWTNVatican She holds what was once a Catholic bishopric. Pope Leo is honoring that ancient Catholic office, not the doctrine of the modern Anglican Church. In fact, he is exposing the shameful decline of it and falsehood of the Reformation (cf Acts 5).

This is not true . Sister Mary Bernadette of the CMRI was there from the beginning , and Father Navarro would do well to be more informed before he talks about the CMRI, which is a religious congregation, just like many others , that has made it through many trials and tribulations. It is a thriving Catholic congregation, that is ordaining more priests this week as a matter of fact.

Those who don't accept the Thesis, yet have been so agitated against the idea of an imperfect general council electing the next true Pope, need not waste their time arguing against IGC. They only need to tell us what the correct solution is and give the proof for it. Then everyone will be on board. Do you just presume everyone is in bad faith and wouldn't agree with you if you had a defensible solution? Instead, you are like someone who writes a book about how to find the true Faith, but you don't say a single word about the Catholic Church. Instead, you spend 500 pages describing what's wrong with every *other* religion in the world. The reader is left still completely in the dark as to where to find the *true* one. Think on it. 🤔 Right now the Thesis clergy and the anti-solutionists are like Herod and Pilot who "were made friends, that same day; for before they were enemies one to another" (Lk 23, 12).
