So, Free Agency is dying. They eliminated a few rules for retaining salary. Half these franchises can't draft well. Seems like a perfect storm for MANY looooong ass rebuilds. The cap is skyrocketing, and there's gonna be MULTIPLE teams unable to pay out competitive salaries for high end talent. You're either gonna be seeing a lot of 10+ year rebuilds moving forward, or a LOT of unsuccessful "Retools". You are in a far better position than you understand. And starting over right now is pure unadulterated lunacy. #LGRW

It is reasonable to call back a goal within 5 seconds as you can argue the slight edge gained by going offsides impacted the play to lead to a goal. Longer than that, the hair splitting the NHL is doing has no impact on the ensuing goal

It would effectively change nothing. What would actually be meaningful is if you could only challenge offsides if the zone entry is within 5 seconds of a goal

Starting to think that the NHL offside rule is inconsistent on offense. Why does the blue line count as the zone when keeping the puck in, but a hard line you have to fully cross on entry? A small tweak would have helped the #LGRW last night. Presented by J.P. Wisers

There’s just a lack of talent. DeBrincat, Seider and Gibson are your MVPs but they need bottom six scoring and at minimum PHYSICALITY
