@Arkypatriot @LynnMissFlynn We have friends who own a little place there behind the Crescent Hotel. We stayed at the Crescent when they got married. Didn’t see any ghosts. But I loved the hotel as well. Although I think the gigantic room we were in had maybe 2 outlets. 😂 Eureka is a lovely town. Enjoyed it

Basin Park Hotel has been part of downtown Eureka Springs since 1905, sitting right in the middle of one of the most unique little mountain towns in Arkansas. Built into the hillside, it’s known for its historic charm, quirky layout, and easy access to the shops, restaurants, and winding streets that make Eureka Springs so memorable.

Wainscoting 2/3 up a wall. It’s beautifully done and leaves you with some space to put whatever you want above it. This green wallpaper goes well with the dark finish, but I don’t think I would have put it.

It should get a public lashing, some hard prison time, and then deport them. This kind of stupidity should cost some physical pain and several years of ones life if they're going to behave like this in Japan.

Talking to a friend on here about his 24th anniversary and it got me thinking how rare staying committed to a single person for life really is.

@Batenswytch My best friend’s mom sewed until she passed. Lord Jesus would have to save us if we touched those fabric scissors. 🤣🤣 I change out all my scissors every 2-3 yrs. All of them at once. Various sizes. Sharp scissors are such a good feeling.

Tip of the day. No fancy video for you. Just a suggestion. Buy your mother a bunch of new scissors. No, the ones she has are not “fine”. They barely cut anything. And she will be sooo happy! My mom hasn’t stopped thanking me. Brand? Idk. Fiskars are good.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ @toebeans_l They can get big. But, as you said, just trim them down. Mine were large at our first home. One I’m in now, it’s been a struggle to get the shrub ones to grow. My hydrangea tree is a monster. I’m planting 2 more bc I want the privacy out back in certain areas.

This woman had just planted some new hydrangeas. Now she has to dig them up because her husband told her that they will block the house too much.
So much for having some curb appeal.
I'd much rather look out my window and see hydrangeas than dirt and I'd much rather be driving up to the house and see the hydrangeas than underneath the house.
Is your gardening a collaboration with your husband or wife or does one of you control the design of the outside of the house when it comes to flowers, shrubs, and trees? What if your husband told you to dig them up after you just planted them because they were going to block the house? What would you do?

This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

@Soaringeagle45 @thejaggins Yea. I’ve learned to state I need tree AND STUMP removal. So many ppl just leave the stump. My tree guy brings all the equipment necessary. They brought the bad ass large grinder to the stump party.

I had a tree I wanted removed, because it was too close to the house. I called a tree guy and he came out and did a nice job cutting down the tree. He asked me what I thought and I said it was nice but what about the stump?.... He informed me that he was just a tree guy who cut down trees, If I wanted the stump removed, I would need to call a stump guy.
I found a highly recommended stump guy and he came and got the stump out. He said there you go. I asked him about the hole. He said I'm a stump guy I just remove stumps, I don't fill in the hole. He told me I would need to call a Landscaper.
I got a hold of a landscaper and I told him I'm fixing to leave town on a trip and I don't care what he does, just fix the hole and make it look nice.
I got back today and found out he planted a freaking tree!!’

@Batenswytch Thank you! I thought so. The guy I have installing it is as excited as I am to get it all installed. There are simple kits to do all the water and sprayer parts.

Daughter is seeing the changes at the front gate, has seen the AI recreation of it that spawned the big overhaul, and is now considering building a smol front yard (it would literally only be like 10ft wide, but 60 ft long) and wants an arbor with climbing roses & a pretty gate.

Two people were airlifted after a crash in Peru, Indiana, this morning.
Grissom Air Reserve Base Fire Department said fire crews responded to a report of a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi on U.S. 31 northbound at 850 South.
Crews arrived on scene and said the semi-truck was blocking traffic. Two people in the truck were extricated from the wreckage, then airlifted to the hospital.

BREAKING: A MAJOR semi truck crash just happened in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
The semi was reportedly stopped and blocked multiple highway lanes, causing a red pickup to slam into its rear.
The driver is wearing a turban.

@1True_American_ I feel this! I blister just looking at certain shoes. Horrible. All. My. Life. I’m 61 and it’s been a struggle forever. I’ve had good luck with Merrell’s. I simply hate spending the money then wear them a few hours and I’ve either blistered or something is rubbing wrong.

I’m like the Princess and the Pea when it comes to shoes. Very picky and I choose comfort over cute. Mostly due to sensitive heels/blister prone. 😣
I need a pair of good walking sandals for summer.

@Batenswytch Oh this is good. It’s all in FL. He wanted possession of home for 90 days and $$ to fix his boat which isn’t even supposed to be on property. Judge called him out. Judge is a boater and told him it’s a cheap fix and would take a few hours. lol. He accuses us of price fixing too.

@LilBuff9 In Texas... if you keep suing people or getting sued, arrested, whatever and keep going pro se and screwing with the court system, they will declare you a vexatious litigant. And then shit gets REAL hard to do on your own.
