I do not accept the claim that Keir Starmer is a liar. He is not. I have known him to be serious, measured, and guided by a strong sense of public duty. We must challenge one another robustly on policy, but do it in a way that strengthens public confidence not erode it
Liz Truss@trussliz

I hope the media is beginning to get it. The British system is dysfunctional. The bureaucrats are in charge and withhold information all the time. I have no sympathy for Starmer - he is an inveterate liar and he and his mates Blair and Brown created the unaccountable albatross we have today.

In Paris today, @Keir_Starmer co-hosted an international summit with @EmmanuelMacron. Joined by more than 45 countries, the summit’s mission is clear: We must protect freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and see a return to peace and stability.

THIS IS JUDGE LORD JUSTICE TIMOTHY HOLROYDE This is the man who REFUSED Lucy Connolly her appeal after she was convicted for a social media post. Meanwhile this very same judge CUT the sentence of Labour's Lord Ahmed by THREE YEARS after he was convicted of child sex offences. His sentence was reduced from five and half years to just two and a half years! ⛔️⛔️⛔️

Fake taxi driver Amponsah Thompson, 29, prowled Liverpool city centre streets in his white Mercedes at night, posing as a legitimate cab to target vulnerable young women. He lured three teenage victims into his car after nights out. He sexually assaulted one 18-year-old in the back seat, raped another while she drifted in and out of consciousness, and repeatedly raped a third woman six or seven times, subjecting her to violent assaults and threatening her with a knife. Liverpool Crown Court heard he had no regard for consent or boundaries. Jailed for 23 years with an extra eight years on licence and must sign the sex offenders register for life. Sickening predator off the streets.

Five men who sexually exploited vulnerable young girls in Huddersfield have been jailed for a combined total of 45 years, following the latest convictions under West Yorkshire Police’s long‑running Operation Tendersea. Their sentencing brings the overall total to 312 years of imprisonment handed down across five major trials linked to the investigation. Judge Geoffrey Marson QC, speaking at Leeds Crown Court, condemned the men’s actions as “vile and wicked”, saying the treatment of the girls “defies understanding”. He noted that none of the defendants had shown any remorse. One 32‑year‑old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, received a 14‑year sentence for raping a 12‑year‑old girl, taking her virginity and leaving her bleeding in a park. He also carried out what the judge described as a “campaign of rape” against another teenage girl, repeatedly abusing her in a Huddersfield park and using sleeping pills to overpower her. The court heard how the victims—many of them extremely vulnerable—were groomed, given drugs and alcohol, and passed between groups of men who pretended to show affection while exploiting them for sexual gratification. Judge Marson said the girls were manipulated into believing they were cared for, when in reality they were being targeted by predatory offenders. He described one case in which a terrified 12‑year‑old was relentlessly pursued. Men repeatedly called her carers demanding access to her, even after she was moved to another city for her safety. She feared she would be killed if her phone details were handed to police. Umar Zaman, 31, and Samuel Fikru, 32, both of William Street, Huddersfield, were each sentenced to eight years after being convicted of two counts of rape. Zaman has absconded and is believed to be in Pakistan. Another 32‑year‑old man was jailed for eight years for a single count of rape, and a 38‑year‑old man received seven years for attempted rape. Their identities are also protected for legal reasons. A sixth defendant, Banaris Hussain, 36, also of William Street, was convicted of one count of rape and is due to be sentenced on Monday. Operation Tendersea has now resulted in 27 men being convicted for offences relating to the grooming and sexual abuse of children in Huddersfield, marking one of the region’s most extensive investigations into child sexual exploitation.

THIS IS JUDGE MAGGIE SCOTT She let child rapist Daniel Cieslak, who r*ped a 12-YEAR-OLD girl, WALK FREE from her courtroom. But guess what folks? Not only that! She gave him an ABSOLUTE DISCHARGE, despite him pleading GUILTY. She also sparked outrage by praising Algerian rapist Hamadache Hamza for settling in Britain and setting up a hairdressing business. She said that the predator deserved “credit” for overcoming his “very difficult background” to become a successful business owner in Scotland.

82-year-old paedophile pensioner Louis Rumis was SPARED JAIL because of his age after being caught with more than 75,000 child abuse images. The haul included 4,091 Category A images and videos, some featuring BABIES as young as six months old being raped. He continued downloading the vile material even after police raided his £500k New Forest home. At Southampton Crown Court today he was handed an 18-month suspended sentence, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and 30 days of rehabilitation. The judge told him: “Only two factors are keeping you out of prison, your guilty plea and your age.” Sickening. Age is no excuse. Yet another nonce let off, how does this deter them?!?!?

These growth figures show the Government has the right plan to build a stronger more resilient economy. But the war in Iran will come at a cost. That is why we are taking the right, fair and necessary action to protect families and businesses.
