So let me get this straight, if the Sacramento Kings do the exact same thing next season as they did last season they’ll have a greater chance in next year’s Draft Lottery?

@The_StilesFiles This is proof the entire organization was not on the same page last year. The question is who is to blame? Sounds to me like Vivek and Christie were opposing Scott Perry.

There’s just no way I can simply move on to draft evaluation without roasting how utterly ridiculous stuff like this was. The Kings just refused to get out of their own way at every turn.

Scott Perry has no one to blame but himself for the Kings finishing 7th in the NBA lottery. Anyone who saw the Kings the year before knew this wasn’t a winning roster and he still brought in Dennis Schroeder and Russel Westbrook in the offseason. Recognizing his mistake he traded Schroeder but didn’t waive Westbrook or buyout DeRozan’s contract at the break.

@MattGeorgeSAC This is proof the Kings organization was never on the same page last season. Top 4 draft teams blatantly committed to tanking and the Kings bring in veterans to win games they shouldn’t. Kings team wasted a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The Sacramento Kings went 3-3 in the final month of the season while everyone else around them historically tanked. The result was them having to flip a coin with the Jazz for a standings tiebreaker. The Kings lost the coin flip, and will now pick 7th while the Jazz pick 2nd.
