At face value, this looks like good ole fashioned legal bully ball and the NFLPA making up rules as they go along to appease new partners. They tried similar tactics a couple years ago against Panini and lost in the courts.
Just very clever timing here makes this a bad faith lawsuit in my opinion. NFLPA has allowed Leaf to operate in a similar manner for well over a decade, and only now it's a problem? Will Wild Card be receiving a similar lawsuit for issues with their sets as well?
We'll see how it plays out but Leaf has my full support. Competition in the marketplace is necessary. Collectors and consumers should have options. Leaf makes great products, regardless of what the hivemind has been trained to believe.
