This is the affiliate account that a lot of creators have. Amazon pays you a commission for sales generated through your amazon links. They should want me to continue since the performance has been pretty good, but an automated system must have made a mistake and they terminated my account in error.

@AmazonAssociate just closed my account after only a single warning, after which I rectified the issue immediately. Of course they did it directly after the holidays. Devastating. Please help!?

@AmazonHelp I did that, when should I expect a response? I really don't want to lose the income from the holidays - that's essential!

Wow... I lost 1,000,000 subscribers. And all my childhood videos. AI moderation is out of control @YouTube Their AI bot claims I violated "dangerous content policy" by claiming "guaranteed returns" or promoting a pyramid scheme. I've never done any of that and can prove endlessly. All I did was document trying and testing online businesses since 13 years old. - I have never promoted scams. - I have never put my community at danger. - I have never violated terms intentionally, and when AI flagged my content, I corrected immediately. If sharing business experience and lessons was so 'dangerous', then why did over 1,000,000 subscribe? Why did over 400K people return every month to watch AGAIN? I was getting thousands of messages a week from people who found my free content useful. Knowing I've done nothing wrong, I just thought I'll appeal, they'll see AI made a mistake, and my life's work will be given back to me. I appealed multiple times, and every time I did, I just got a generic response that they won't return my channel. We had 14 full time employees who depended on this channel to feed their families. So YouTube's AI response not only affects me, but affects our team, and millions of people whose lives were positively impacted by this channel. I have been in this space since 2011, and it's heartbreaking to witness AI police bully the whole @YouTubeCreators community. Over a decade of sweat and tears gone in an instant. And I am not the only one that got unfairly removed. Incompetence of AI moderation has financially and emotionally damaged millions of creators. I'm not making this post to beg for sympathy, but as a warning to all creators. If AI can do this to me with over a decade of content and a community of 1,000,000+ people... Then no one is safe anymore. So what can you do? 1) Own your audience. Use YouTube to get discovered, and funnel that audience to a community, group, or email list outside. 2) Retweet this. If we spread awareness far enough, more people will learn about AI police brutality on YouTube. 3) If you’ve had a similar experience, reply. I’m collecting stories. 4) Keep serving your community. Got wrongfully removed? Okay, it's not fair, but you have to keep going. Your audience went to you for a reason. They trust you and you should never let them down. So find strength to rebuild from scratch. It might take a year, 5 or even 10, but time will pass anyways. And you only lose if you stop playing. Lots of love, - Dave🫶🏻

Just got pitched an "AI-Powered NAS" - sounds absolutely terrifying. How long before a product not having AI is considered a feature? I think it might already be for me..

AN OPEN LETTER TO @YouTube AND NEAL MAHON. Dear @YouTube I built a media business that broadcasts on your platform. Our business has exploded and we are growing rapidly. We have over 1,1m subscribers. We employ over 100 people globally and we work tirelessly to deliver on our mission of building the most profitable community in the world. Despite our success, I am constantly anxious. I don’t sleep at night and I am scared to scale my business. Why? It’s not because of any real market or business risk. It’s because I know that at any moment I could get a Youtube strike, or a series of strikes , that may force me to close the entire business overnight and destroy my work and that of my 100 employees. Even though our channel hasn’t been affected , many of our partner channels and fellow creators have suffered this fate. As one of the larger players in the industry, I feel I have a duty and an obligation to take on this fight. 100s of crypto content creators are making the same videos they have made for years, with similar content and style, only now they are getting strikes or being deplatformed. And the worst parts, 1. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing wrong and so they can’t change. All they get is a vague message that the video contravened the community Guidelines, of which there are many. 2. The appeal process is flawed, seems to be an AI and unreliable. Worse yet, is that since Youtube has network effects and a monopoly of sorts there are no real viable alternatives, and so if it happens to you , your business is gone. One of our partners and member of our group of companies , @FefeDemeny has a channel called the 100x club. He comes from a humble background! He is hardworking, ambitious and makes great content. He built a business from his garage, started from zero and was just getting momentum. Recently his channel has been under attack by the Youtube algorithm, he received warnings and strikes and despite all the strikes being removed on appeal - today his channel was removed permanently! The worst part is that he has no idea why. He has become really conservative with his content, he follows all the known guidelines, he follows all the processes and he still received the strikes. Now he cannot make content for a week and his ability to keep funding his business is impaired. He, like many others in this industry, is a business creator with good intentions and great content. We have made millions of hours of content on your platforms. We have brought in Billions of dollars of ad revenue. Despite this our businesses are under threat constantly. He is not the only one. It’s happening daily to creators in our industry and we have no idea why. At this point it is clear that there is an issue with your flagging software. It seems like a setting is too sensitive. And this issue is costing honest people their businesses and their livelihoods. We are not asking for any favorable treatment or for you to change any rules, All we are asking for is clarity. We want to understand why some channels are randomly getting strikes so we can understand and comply. We would also appreciate it if you could review your algorithm as it may be set to sensitive or it may be picking up false positives. As a monopoly of sort you have a duty to ensure that you are fair to all creators, the same creators that build your business. We would appreciate a real response for a real human, someone with real power and some action that can assist us in maintaining our businesses that we have worked so hard to build. I write this on behalf of many creators. I look forward to a response. If you want to help creators, please share this far and wide. You are helping save people’s businesses.

Days ago, my channel was terminated. I’ve poured years of time, resources and work into making content that aligns with YouTube’s TOS. I have managed to avoid strikes by creating content in an honest way. I did review YouTube’s Spam Policy, I feel confident in stating that, my content does not fall under any of the listed violations. However, if creators make a genuine mistake after years of not being an issue and contributing to the platform without issue, they should have the opportunity to fix that issue, be made away or receive a strike, not be immediately terminated with little to no human interaction nor attention. I’ve always produced content in the most ethical ways I knew how. I did this because I care for my audience, not just to meet TOS. This is my former channel link youtube.com/channel/UCkI0w… I strongly believe this termination was an automated error. I believe you will find I did not violate YouTube’s Policies. I have never wanted to harm this platform and genuinely care for my viewers. I am not a scammer nor looking to do harm to anyone or be deceitful in my practices. Thank you for your time. I just ask that you consider supporting creators to who contribute genuinely to the YouTube community to be allowed to correct errors or mistakes prior to terminating their years of work. Thousands of creators are being falsely and wrongfully terminated, many of whom depend on their content financially to feed their families. Please, do the right thing for those individuals who have contributed to your platform. Reinstate not just my channel but all of our channels, who were wrongfully terminated via this or other automated issues. Give us an avenue for human interaction when we have issues with your system. Correct the system when it doesn’t work for the creators that are producing content for your platform. Please, make YouTube human again. Sincerely, Haley
