If you are a young person planning to eventually become an entrepreneur, I would advise not going to college as it's not a high ROI activity. You would be better off starting a small business now and actually getting reps. For an entrepreneur, your social media following will be many times more valuable for you than a degree you have to pay for.

Consistency is great. But sometimes you have to surprise your audience. Stay in character, but don’t be afraid to shake it up a bit to keep things fresh.

Entrepreneurship is about self-belief first and business skills second.

Growing up, we weren't given the playbook for making millions. We were given the playbook for mediocrity. Real success comes from visibility and creating assets that you own that can consistently generate money for you.

@Dwriteway People in your real life will start to pressure you about it and give you a clock for how long it should take to work. Don't let anyone else's impatience define your success. If they aren't contributing they don't need to have an opinion on what you do.

Normalise building something online and not telling anyone in your real life until it works.

@alexwtlf I would still rather work the 100 hour weeks then work the 9-5 for someone else. At least then I'm building something for myself and if you build your business the right way it can become an asset that eventually pays you even when you aren't working.

You’re unhappy at your 9-5. Someone controls your time. Someone gives you tasks. You can’t stop working. Freedom doesn’t exist. Being a founder isn’t easy either. Working 70-100 hours a week. Sacrificing social life and relationships. Never sure about tomorrow. At this point I’m just waiting for AI to replace all of us

@Abigail7866 I see this problem with so many accounts. I'll see something interesting they posted and then go to their account and I can't figure out what they actually do so I don't follow.

@iitsBilal Most of your connections will come from replies, especially early on. Replying at least 20 times a day is mandatory to start building your account.

@AlexHormozi This is a great strategy. Double down on pain points until they improve and it will improve the entire operation.

If you have one thing holding the business back - speed up cycles. Go from meeting weekly to daily. Start all meetings with the metric you wanna improve. Go granular on individual accounts. This is the fastest way I've seen big turnarounds happen. Cram a year of work into weeks.

the saddest guys i know aren't broke. they have a job, an apartment, spend their life looking at a screen. they just haven't done anything that scared them in 4 years. comfort is the slowest way to die.

@thejustinwelsh I never focus on what other people are doing because I have so much belief in the things I'm doing that it seems irrelevant.

The most successful people I know are annoyingly unaware of what everyone else is doing.

You don't need to be perfect to start. You need to be brave. Bravery beats perfection every time. The most successful creators started messy. They got better by doing. Start messy. Get better.
