Yeah, that's really not true though. It's a lie they tell the people who they are replacing. As an example, prior to the industrial revolution and factory robotics, employment participation was 95%+ since then it has never passed 80%, then the internet came and retail sales started to die, pre covid labor participation was about 60% from that. We are currently sitting at about 40%. We never "created more jobs", they just lied to the people and hid the numbers by manipulating "unemployment data", but labor participation does not lie.
