@Superhuman @bbalfour Concierge onboarding works. We have been doing it for the past 5 years. Short-term it may seem expensive, but done right, you see a big positive ROI, plus it really makes you stand out in a world of automation where most businesses underestimate human connection

@nikitabier I assume not all Google engineers make for bad co-founders :-) How long have you known and worked with him, before "getting married"? Curious if there's a deeper lesson we can all learn here

With schools, events and sports getting canceled, please remember that: Going outdoors is not cancelled, Family is not cancelled, Music is not cancelled, Reading is not cancelled, Laughing is not cancelled and Hope is not cancelled. Keep perspective. This too shall pass.

@dennishegstad @LiveRecover Generally speaking, we found that - the smaller the client, the more friction, headaches and a sense of entitlement.

@LiveRecover example b: 4 days of being on @LiveRecover, they had 0 abandoned checkouts (besides myself testing on their site) 0 carts, 0% recovery rate, 0 texts. asks 20 questions after joining, then tells us... *your app sucks, uninstall* not EVERYONE is a customer you want to have

the disconnect is amazing between customers: a) brands we recover $100,000s a month over text msg: never complain, ask great questions, provide even better feedback b) dropshippers with 0 abandoned carts: ask why our service 'does not work' and if they can cancel free plan 🤷‍♂️

How to be Happy: Focus on the Important stuff. It may be your family, work, hobbies or anything you are passionate about. But it's never the Rolex, car or bling bling. Focus on the people you touch, collect experiences, double down on your strenghts and accept your weaknesses.

My dream is to own a ski in/ski out cabin and have a season pass then invite all my friends to come out — might happen, whose in?!

It is really about time! We need to cure ourselves of the itch to force people into the modern cubicles of headphones sitting on school lunch tables for the fabled “great conversations in the hallways” that never really happen. Stay home: Creativity and productivity explodes.

@bfeld The future is here :-) For the past 16 years, we have been bootstrapping businesses from zero to 8 and 9 figures. With the right team and culture, a distributed setup is much more productive. It removes distractions & friction, while opening up access to a bigger talent pool.

🙏🏽 I’m sharing a blog post tomorrow that doubles down on my failure (and lessons) running @KISSmetrics that led to missing out on a huge opportunity. Something I haven’t shared publicly yet.
David Cancel@dcancel

Very proud of my friend @hnshah for being vulnerable and sharing the hard lessons he learned during his tough experience at KissMetrics. 🙏🏽👏🏽 How loss of focus and a lawsuit brought about the slow growth and loss of momentum of KISSmetrics - mixergy.com/interviews/kis…
