@rokejulianlockh That's a fair point. In our opinion, it doesn't outweigh how harmful this platform is. We're keeping the account active though, so people can still mention @MobianLinux and see our pinned post about the move to #Mastodon :)

@MobianLinux Because of outreach. There are many who still haven't even heard of Mastodon, who are interested by tech, and now probably won't know of your exploits, whereas they would, and would potentially be incentivised to visit Mastodon. However, abandoning here might also be positive. 🤷

@MobianLinux That's fine, but why not configure a bridge? Some accounts post to FLOSS platforms originally and merely propogate their posts to other platforms. I suppose that it's merely more crude federation.
