This new @SouthwestAir boarding process is a nightmare. How’s it possible I board the plane before 4 other groups and still have no overhead bin space at my row? They gotta get this figured out….

@akafaceUS this thread gives me little hope of surviving on a burning airplane on the ground.

Anyone who jumped from the plane with their luggage in this situation should be added to the no fly list.

I've finally run out of power poles and need to put in another order. I'm shocked at the markup with some of these prices. 30A power poles use to be $1 a set. Not no more...where do you order power poles at?

892 mb at sea level is absurd. You would need to climb to 1.1 km (3600 ft) above sea level to experience the same pressure on a normal day. A slab of air 1.1 km thick was essentially removed from the column above the Melissa’s center.

@MizdInformation Had considered that too. Don't know why that would have excessively high ZDR values though? I'm very much leaning bio (ie a very uniform swarm of insects). Would sprinklers actually be set to run at sunset? That's when this shows up day to day.

Odd stationary precipitation seen south of KAMA from 01z-04z 2025/09/09. Trying to figure out why it's there -- My first thought was terrain but there's no correlation there. Second was field moisture but not all of the updrafts are over fields. Any ideas?

@wxKobold one massive cow fart, not even joking. All the radar signatures actually line up with ranches and cow yards. The massive spike in radar signature north of Hart, TX is actually a massive Cow Farm. The others line up with large scale ranches.

I just noticed CW Morse just came out with a N0SA inspired single level design. Looks pretty cool but I'm a bit cautious after my iambic paddle keeps having the random dits/dahs issue that was never solved.

Woke up to see this. Member had Too much weight on their carbon fiber mast. It sprung right back. I don't think there is any damage.

I'm sure there is probably a dozen HamTube livestreams tonight that are talking about 2025 ARRL Field Day. So here is yet another one. 6:00pm Central. youtube.com/live/6CznCF92G…

This was my view of the storm that dropped an EF3 tornado in Richmond Heights on Friday, which devastated parts of St. Louis. Seemed like it came out of nowhere, there was a hail core but no major rotation until like 2 minutes before I took this photo. #stlwx #tornado #stlouis

Initial survey of the May 16 St Louis tornado. The tornado likely continued much further into IL and survey teams will continue to assess over the coming days. Tornado began in Clayton at 2:41 pm, up to 1 mile wide, EF3 (150mph) intensity. The path is at least 8 miles so far...

Just a quick update on yesterday's tornado in St Louis. Survey teams are still out assessing the situation, but we have preliminarily determined that the tornado was at least EF-3 (140+ mph) and up to 1 mile wide at times.

I don’t know if you can get an EF5 damage indicator from tree damage, but this is utterly insane. There isn’t one tree left standing that’s in the path.

WILD NEW VIDEO Dramatic video footage captured by Levi Campbell shows the powerful winds of the suspected tornado causing widespread damage to trees and sending debris flying down Pershing Avenue in St Louis. Authorities have been responding to multiple incidents across the city. #mowx
