In simplest terms, Trump commentary was much more hawkish than where consensus moved in the past 2 days. If bombing going another 2-3 weeks, any sort of normalcy is months away…and the oil market tightens every single day. 2027/2028 oil is too cheap. As are energy stocks #EFT.

We closed the daily with a Gravestone Doji right below the downtrend resistance, and with yesterday's rally sets up the potential for a shooting star reversal if we sell off tomorrow. That would be very bad news for bulls next week as the combination of the shooting star along with the Three Black Crows established with Monday's close point to a new low being made. The 20DMA crossed under the 200DMA yesterday and historically the 2 days from a bearish cross of those two are up days from a counter trend, after then the results are quite bearish. The 50DMA and 200DMA appear to be on course for a Death Cross by the second week of April, so if that is to be prevented then Trump will have to pull a rather large rabbit out of his hat tonight to get SPY above 675 sustainably. Otherwise we are looking at the next leg down very very soon.
