@NetherfieldV2 I’ve just added Céline Forestier to my Trevor White basket (am supposed to be saving for my July tax bill 😬). I have Crépuscule - will be sharing pics very soon. 🙂

My rustic May Day wreath made from willow & mock orange. It's the thought that counts! #Beltaine 🥂

@rosesukroses They are superb. I have just got Céline Forestier to grow up an old garage & am tempted by Crépuscule but with recent obscenely expensive water bills it sadly won't be this month! 🌹

@NetherfieldV2 That’s very pretty. Was thinking I might increase my own Noisette rose collection, although where I’d put them I have no idea. 🙂
English

@AnnMile71721158 Thank you. It benefitted from the fact that I needed to give the mock orange a trim.
English

@NetherfieldV2 How lovely! Our mock orange not out yet but am longing for it to appear now!
English

@trevandvick oh that's sad. Mine is a bit of a thug so needed a little trim 😊
English

@NetherfieldV2 That’s beautiful- sadly my mock orange died…the roots clogged up our soakaway.
English

@NetherfieldV2 It turned out beautifully. You can be proud of your wreath.💚✨️

@HKW1981 yes I was just saying it is a perfect thing to do to mark key dates (quarter days & cross quarter days, festivals etc) using whatever is in flower at the time. I will give it a go 😊
English

@NetherfieldV2 Oh I suspect you’re wrong about the prizes
We have door wreaths at Christmas. Would love ones to mark other times of year
English

@HKW1981 That is very kind. It wouldn't win any prizes but I wanted to do something special to mark the day.
English

@NetherfieldV2 I just had to look it up. Looks delicious😋. However, I think emu would prefer something else.

Just seen four #Swifts in Walton-on-Thames! Well I think it was four but I’ve had a couple of pints 😹😹😹

@HelenRo88542779 @NetherfieldV2 We also heard our first cuckoo today whilst walking around Barnwell Country Park
English

Sun setting over the sheep troughs. The first #cuckoo of the year calling down towards the river 🎶; such a lovely sound. I have cut some willow withies to make a May Day wreath. Never tried it before but how hard can it be? I am not hopeful but God loves a trier. ✨️

English

@NetherfieldV2 Oh really? Thank you. They are quite small-just a bit bigger than mallards-so it didn't occur to me that they were geese. We have Canada Geese here too.
