Has elements of botw/just cause 3 where you can mess around in the world and do different things in it. Zero elements showing its an rpg.

@ArcEon00 @idonotexistelol No. They showed Spider-Man web swinging, Just Cause Hollywood action, Witcher crafting, BotW puzzles, Assassin’s Creed parkour, god of war beat em up, Shadow of Colossus boss fights, Skyrim dungeons, and they said it was born as a PC game

@OBPerformer @idonotexistelol They have several times and so have several people who were at the previews. We have knowns for a long time they were going for a mix of botw and elden ring. Slightly more towards botw. It is not hard to be able to see where games are actually getting their inspo from and aren't.

@idonotexistelol It would also require people to have to actually determine what the game is trying to be accurately, but tbh they should do to determine whether they will like it ahead of time or not. And if they arent wait until a sale to determine if they do like that. Just being a smart buyer

@lofi_lover0930 I once saw a movie that explored how distrust among people perpetuates an intergenerational cycle of hatred. It's a good story, if you can get past odd discussion of what happens to amphibians exposed to electrical potential energy. A good story with bad dialog.

Is having a good story for games the same as having good dialogue?
I always wondered if people separate them or lump them together
I personally separate them, I can play with fun gameplay with dialogue even when the story is bad
I can't do it vice versa tho

@1981tales Except that Ubisoft has made every Assassin’s Creed game so fundamentally different that they’re basically a mix of genres. I hear it all the time “x isn’t an assassin,” “there is no stealth,” “modern day is blah blah” as if any of that is what makes it an Assassin’s Creed game.
