Most recently, we've seen two wild examples:
- Streamer Sneako got aggressively confronted and threatened in NYC while livestreaming.
- Conservative journalist Savannah Hernandez was assaulted (pushed to the ground) by protesters while covering an anti-ICE demonstration in Minneapolis.
Whether you're on the left, right, or somewhere in between, saying the “wrong” thing (or even just recording/filming) can turn into real-world confrontation or violence fast.
Be careful out there. The internet isn’t as consequence-free as it used to be.
