Gratitude? Don’t make me laugh. This was pure self preservation after years of two faced double dealing. Next time India and Pakistan erupt into a real conflict, we’ll quickly see how fast that “centre of mediation” fantasy collapses when the flames are in their own backyard.
To hell with you and that wretched place you call your motherland.

Pakistan is owed a huge debt of gratitude for its mediation efforts. The world was collectively holding its breath as President Trump's deadline loomed, with threats to wipe out an entire civilisation.
Another sign that the centre of mediation has moved from Europe, eastwards.

@Dive_bomb_ @HumzaYousaf Looking at your reposts, you look like an embittered Indian
English

@HumzaYousaf lets be real, the entire ceasefire was Trump chickening out and using Pakistan as a narrative/way to push his excuse. Forwarded without a change

@BrahMosSpeaks @JOHNKELLY_OO7 No rafale was hurted confirmed from airforce employee

Because we would have to buy big cranes (extra cost) in decent number besides Su-57 to lift their wreckages during a conflict.
Military Observer@TheMilObserverr
Why we are not going for SU57 with full technology transfer and long range weapons package instead of shit Rafale.

@Woods00000000 @OSINTWarfare A-10 was also shot down by Iran. No evidence of an F-16 being shot down though
English

@OSINTWarfare Why did expensive US warplanes suddenly start falling like doves in the skies over Iran? 🤔

The astronauts will arrive about 10,300 kilometers beyond our satellite, breaking all previous records for distance from Earth. But how was their route chosen? wired.com/story/the-traj…

@Sacchan54763912 @the_fauxy I have never seen any visuals of any of these claims. Do you have them?
English

@starywood @sentdefender 4th. 3 F-15s were downed by a Kuwaiti F/A-18 and one F-35 was damaged by Iran
English

@sentdefender Is this the second or third plane that’s been shot down?

@CWLemoine Last resort countermeasure is the politically correct term I think

One pilot, one WSO (CSO these days I think they're calling themselves).
Lebanese Fella 🇱🇧🇺🇦🇫🇷@LbfIntel
Just finding out that many so called experts don't know that this type of F15 actually has 2 pilots 😑

@Oreo74220350 @sentdefender Fron one tiny spot, that is not determinable.

Iranian state-run media has posted several images of wreckage from an American fighter jet that was allegedly downed today over Iran, with the images appearing to show the rear stabilizer and other parts of an F-15E Strike Eagle with U.S. Air Force’s 494th Fighter Squadron (494th FS), based out of RAF Lakenheath, which was deployed in recent months to the Middle East in the buildup to Operation Epic Fury.

English

@Scooter1355 @sentdefender The vertical stabiliser does resemble the same livery as the F-15s from 494th sqn. Also you can make out the word ‘Europe’ which is part of their logo: ‘US Air forces in Europe’. 335th is based in the US, so it doesn’t have the same markings
English

@Sacchan54763912 @the_fauxy Where is the visual evidence for the F-16 destroyed or damaged, Mirage destroyed and Erieye?
English

@Scooter1355 @sentdefender I’m not saying I believe Iran. For all we know this could be recycled footage from a previous crash. All I’m saying is that the livery from the pictures does not match the livery of the F-15Es shot down in Kuwait in early march
English

@Oreo74220350 @sentdefender You believe Iran....that's funny. I could say a lot here, but I won't. CENTCOM will follow up with the facts that Iran never shot down our F-15.
English

@Scooter1355 @sentdefender The ones shot down in Kuwait were from the 335th fighter squadron, not 494th. The livery on the vertical stabiliser looks completely different
English

@sentdefender Looks like pics of the ones Kuwait shot down by accident. Gee, maybe do better research.

PAF F-16A from No. 9 Multi-role Squadron "Griffins", Taking off from an Operational Airbase of Pakistan Airforce.
Beginning around 2004, the PAF was Increasingly Tasked with supporting Army Units engaged in Counterinsurgency Operations. This represented a Shift from its Conventional Air Warfare Focus to Close Air Support (CAS) in Mountainous Terrain, often in TIC (time-critical troops-in-contact) Situations.
Early operations Exposed Significant Capability Gaps. Fixed-wing CAS Doctrine was Optimized for Conventional Warfare, NOT dispersed insurgent Targets Operating Close to Friendly Forces. Most Critically, the PAF Lacked a Credible Night CAS Capability, limiting Responsiveness during Emergencies.
These Shortcomings became Evident during a TIC incident near Fort Ladha, South Waziristan, in December 2007. Army units came under Sustained Militant Attack at around 0400 hours and Urgently requested Air Support. While Senior-level coordination occurred immediately, Strikes could not be launched until daylight. Ground Troops were Forced to hold their Positions under Extreme Pressure.
Mission Planning the following morning Highlighted additional Constraints. With no Real-time ISR, Planners relied heavily on "Google Earth" imagery Combined with Ground Commanders Descriptions to identify Terrain Features, Enemy Positions, and Escape Routes. F-16s were Tasked and Launched to conduct Low-altitude Visual Confirmation Passes before delivering Strikes against identified Threats near the fort. The mission succeeded, but the Delay Highlighted the Risks Posed by limited Night Capability.
Subsequent Operations, Notably in Bajaur in August 2008, Tested improved joint Procedures. In another TIC scenario, F-16s provided repeated CAS sorties, delivering Precision strikes when Feasible and Non-kinetic effects when Proximity to Friendly forces Constrained Weapons use. Air support played a key role in Stabilizing the Situation, Enabling Ground units to Break contact.
Overall, this experience Significantly Accelerated PAF's Transition into a more Capable force in the Domain of Counterinsurgency CAS, Shaping its Doctrine and Long-term Effectiveness in COIN operations.
