@weirdoqueen My favorite place to eat in the Bay Area is Berma Superstar. They do NOT take reservations, and have a long (worthwhile) wait. Get on the wait-list, then take a walk for a bit. Share a Tealeaf salad - it's the old standby. If you need rice, get the coconut rice.

1926 Detroit Electric. These were advertised specifically to women and came with upholstery, vases, swiveling seats, and the ability to drive them from any seat. They were built to approximate a sitting room on wheels. Note no front brakes, as with many other period cars.

@sayno2gas @PGE4Me @SCE @SDGE @SMUD Utils should incentivize EV owners to plug in during specific times. One important advantage of having batteries on the grid is phase balancing - they can absorb and respond to massive voltage drops as machines come on and off line, keeping the AC synced.

@jeremyjudkins_ Generators, tuned to run at peak efficiency, are 60-80% efficient. Automobiles, tuned to respond to broad loads, are around 25% efficient. Also, I run my car from the grid - just like I do my home.

A 2000 kW Diesel generator. Aka what all the crazies think powers Tesla Superchargers. They just hide these things in plain sight? Can’t see/hear/smell them? 😂😂😂

Doing random projects I've put off. I have a massive broken flat screen. Looking into getting the backlight LEDs working again. (These two are two halves of one strip. There are 5 strips.)
