What happened to Zelda really saddens me. Fans of the original games and fans of the wild era games are fans of completely different things, and it so happens that the most popular games by far the the wild era ones, so 70% of Zelda “fans” have no love for the soul of the series.

The fact that the Algerian government INVITED Pope Leo XIV is a detail often overlooked in the current debates surrounding his visit.
Naturally, the Pope reciprocated this olive branch by visiting the Grand Mosque. The idea floating around that the Pope somehow weakened Christianity through his actions completely ignores the surrounding context and the entire purpose of the trip.
Despite being a Muslim-majority country, Algeria permits the Catholic Church to maintain roughly 30 parishes there. Compare this to the Protestant churches, which have been almost completely shut down, and the unique opportunity presented to the Pope becomes clear.
The Pope’s actions in Algeria almost certainly helped preserve the Catholic presence in the country for years to come.
