"To hear our Prime Minister, Mark Carney, describe our relationship with the United States as a weakness is deeply concerning. It's simply a poor choice of words.
The largest economy in the history of the world sits just south of us—it cannot be ignored. I’m at a major food innovation show here in Montreal, and Americans are here to do business in Canada, just as Canadian companies are eager to do the same, despite the senseless political rhetoric."

@ryangerritsen You can’t make this stuff up.
To respect “transparency” they’re moving meetings to in-camera.
Arrogance has many faces. Note his points endorsed by the grinning, nodding bobblehead to his left.
Who votes for this?

Steven MacKinnon gets asked if putting committee meetings in-camera (meaning shutting the cameras off to Canadians) is really a democratic use of having a majority Government.
Listen to this long convoluted answer of his where he ends up blaming Conservatives for it. There is nothing transparent about the Liberals. I don’t trust them for a second.

@lesliechurch A lot of superfluous, mad arm waving in this one. Next time try the Kat McKenna shuffle, it goes like this:
“If you actually say it louder, we've learned in the House of Commons, if you repeat it, say it louder, if that is your talking point people will totally believe it"

@cbcwatcher Isn’t it about time media stopped going to Scott Reid for comment? Doesn’t his son work inside the Carney PMO?
English

Scott Reid appears to do a CTV interview from an airport bathroom. Good to acknowledge the gargantuan size of the deficit "That is a giant number, let's be crystal clear, by any standard, in the pandemic, outside of the pandemic, certainly in the post pandemic era, that is a large, large deficit number driven by a series of factors, government signaling that it will be smaller." @_scottreid

@MbarkCherguia Is the digger a man named Jed who barely kept his family fed?
English

@PmorrisPeter @acoyne The Govt does represent all Canadians. Thats the difference between the party that forms the govt and the opposition. The opposition has no stake in the game. They represent only their own interests.. whatever gets them elected. They can lie because nobody hold them in account.
