Program note: Donald Trump said during the Canadian election he preferred Mark Carney to Pierre Poilievre because it would be easier to deal with a Liberal, and that Polievre was "no friend of mine."

This is good stuff. Humble Poilievre is much more likeable than abrasive Poilievre. There's a story to be told about how he smartened up. Not hard to imagine this guy as pm one day if he keeps this up.

Pierre Poilievre represented Canada well on the Joe Rogan Experience. Kept to his classy rule about not criticizing the Prime Minister on foreign soil, provided important context to soften the perceived harsh edges of policies that have - often unfairly - generated outrage among some in the U.S., and emphasized Canadian unity. Quite well done.
