MTETO NYATI - ESKOM BOARD CHAIR I am very glad that a way was found to get rid of Andre de Ruyter He was very toxic to Eskom employees. Eskom employees were demotivated to do the best they know how. André de Ruyter & his people kept undermining the capacity of Eskom plant & its employees. He kept accusing them of corruption They wanted the private sector to resolve problems which could be resolved by Eskom employees. He kept saying Renewables are the way to go, all power plants must be retired. Imagine if he had been kept till now. There would have been no country. These renewable companies have no capacity to set up their power generation toys. It's delays after the next.

Cabinet is set to meet today to consider additional relief measures beyond the temporary R3 fuel levy suspension. The proposals under discussion are unlikely to involve direct fiscal support. A ministerial team spanning electricity, transport, minerals and petroleum, and finance has been tasked with developing the next phase of interventions. @BDliveSA

“The ANC is too big to fail, and I’m not talking about losing an election, that can happen and it’s fine. I’m talking about the ANC itself collapsing, if that happens then the country will become ungovernable. If the ANC collapses due its internal crisis, then it’ll transfer all its problems to the general population; then the country will be in crisis.” - President Thabo Mbeki on @eNCA

Macron folded. He must return Ramaphosa's hugs. On a serious note....it is a cowardly act but it confirms who is the global bully. Anyway, these things are cyclical and must be met with equanimity. Keep moving..the world is resetting. Political power is transient.

Afriforum does not even represent 10% of white people in South Africa. Majority of white people do not have an issue with the transformation policies of the ANC, they want to see an equal society. Afriforum leeches on the fears of a fringe group and feeds them lies about a white genocide, because to them blacks are bloody thirsty animals who kill with impunity. They went to the US and spread lies about our country, seeking to economically sabotage and blackmail the nation into buying in to their racist agenda. The comments I made about Bozell are true, he did campaign in 1987 to keep the status quo of apartheid when President OR Tambo visited the White House. This is historical fact. The ANC believes in a non-racial society premised on equality, meaning that it is biased to the formerly oppressed black masses and put in measures to uplift them. Why does Afriforum not want to see black and whites living harmonious in an equal society? Why does Afriforum want us to go back to the dark days of apartheid? Why does Afriforum hate black people and those who seek to uplift? I will never waiver from fighting for the masses of our people, ever!

RAMAPHOSA IS LEADERSHIP👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 By Dr. Zamani Saul, Northern Cape ANC Provincial Chairperson 11 March 2026 South Africa and Brazil have a rich history of cooperation, dating back to the solidarity of Brazil with South Africa during the liberation struggle. In the 1970s and 1980s, the ANC was allowed to operate freely in the country, providing a crucial platform for the ANC to gain international recognition and support. In 1985, Brazil imposed economic sanctions against apartheid South Africa, further isolating the regime. This solidarity helped to pave the way for the end of apartheid. These historical ties have evolved into a strong partnership, with both countries working together on various fronts, including trade, technology, and global governance. The collaboration between South Africa and Brazil is strengthened through multilateral platforms like BRICS, IBSA, and the G20, where both countries advocate for a more equitable global order. South Africa and Brazil are working to strengthen their economic ties, with bilateral trade reaching R32.5 billion in 2025. Key areas of cooperation include agribusiness, aerospace, energy, and technology. The Preferential Trade Agreement between the two countries has opened up opportunities for exports from South Africa to Brazil. The recent visit by President Cyril Ramaphosa to Brazil is aimed at deepening these ties, exploring new avenues for trade and investment. Let's give our President a heart ❤️

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!Even at this grave geopolitical moment when editorial FRAMING on Iran, Gaza, etc. have been shown to have consequences, you continue to be complicit in drumming up empathy for wrong doers? He was not demached over "Kill the Boer comments." It was over his ENTIRE speech. The main reason was his attack on the judiciary. The "I don't care about your courts." There is an editorial consequence to your framing. It sets the stage for international headlines that say "US Ambassador demarchèd for denouncing Kill The Boer." Who sounds reasonable in that framing? Who sounds like a state that is repressing opinion? Kill The Boer is not state policy. The story is the attack on the apex court and South Africa's sacrosanct constitutionalism.
