@rtelmore Agreed on rankings, but accreditors can be a college’s best friend, when you are explaining to central admin why you need resources to run programs. Often Central admin thinks colleges are just whining about funding but are more likely to believe an outside body.

I think more schools should pull out of rankings (I see you @UofDenver) and accreditation stuff. These industries exists for, as far as I can tell, to promote their industries. Does anybody really think business schools today need an AACSB board to approve what they are doing?

@rtelmore NIL killed it all. It will die a slow death over the next decade or two. As Louis XV said, “it will last my time and after me, the deluge”. I also think Florida is currently paying three guys not to coach there. Maybe it’s only two.

If I were the AD at either CU Boulder or CSU, I'd get rid of football. Sucks that CSU just built a new stadium. Maybe form hockey and lacrosse teams at both.
