@Biddco I've maintained that he could easily be the next Red Berenson or Jerry York or even Murray Armstrong, to pull from less recent history, if he wants to be. By the same token, if he does ever decide to leave for the NHL, he'll have 100% support from the DU fanbase. He's earned that

@LetsGoDU I think it's when he wants a new challenge and wants to make 4 or 5 or 6 times what he makes now. OR He could just be a guy who wants to stay in college hockey forever. Which many have done.

@Biddco I mean non-hockey stuff aside (which is real and you're right), he has one of the best jobs in the country...which is arguably better than some NHL jobs. There is no legitimate answer to the question, "Why would he leave?"
