From the sacred days of Navratris and the joyous celebrations of Eid, to the vibrant New Year festivals across India and the globe - it is a season that reminds us of our shared humanity. 🌍 In this spirit of collective strength and new beginnings, I am humbled to share a project that has been close to my heart for a very long time. ✍️📖 I am officially beginning the journey of writing my memoir: a story that explores the most profound human paradox. It is a story of Love and Hope - two forces that often appear to be the most fragile, yet in our hardest moments, prove to be the most powerful strengths we possess. 🕊️ While this began as a personal journey through a cancer diagnosis of my loving wife Kusum, it is a story for anyone, anywhere, facing their own 'impossible' mountain. This book is: ❤️ A Universal Love Story that transcends the physical. 🤝 A Compassionate Guide for anyone navigating caregiving, loss, or a life-altered state. ⚖️ A call for Systemic Change in healthcare, exploring how we fight for a better world while finding the grace to accept life’s hardest 'no.' To ensure this mission continues to serve others, all royalties from this book will be dedicated to supporting cancer patients and advocacy work through our foundation. 🎗️ Just as these global festivals celebrate the triumph of light and the power of the spirit, this book is about our collective journey to 'Rise to Survive.' On Mother’s Day, I often think about a wish Kusum once shared during her Stage 4 cancer journey. She used to say: “I atleast wants to live until our son Suryansh finishes his Class 10" (an important milestone in kids growth and education in India) But perhaps there was a small miscommunication with God. Instead of waiting for his Class 10 exams, she was taken away when he turned 10 years old. Years later, Suryansh passed his Class 10 exams with flying colors. And somewhere deep inside, I felt: “One more wish of hers has been fulfilled.” Being a single father after losing her has never been easy. But I truly believe it was Kusum's love, strength, and blessings for Suryansh which continue to guide us every day. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. And especially to the ones who continue protecting their children… even from beyond what we can see. And indeed Happy Mother’s Day to all Single Fathers like me who play a role of mother too :-) 💛 #HappyMothersDay #SingleFather #Cancer #God #Love
