Interesting & unfortunate. I’ve always found Maggie to be a brilliant pundit. Very well respected. It is important female sports pundits get their places on merit not box ticking, but Maggie is one of those very deserving of her status.

@MaggieAlphonsi @JulesPR_ Well he's clearly an expert on the elite game Maggie 🙄 His playing days were primarily spent at Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club, where he played for over 20 years, mostly for the 3rd and 4th teams. He knows feck all about elite level rugby, full stop, mens or women's.

To summarise what I found in Makerfield: * It's Reform territory. In any other context this would be an easy Reform win * The Burnham effect is real. Local people view him as one of their own. * Restore have more of a presence that I anticipated. They may well be a factor

Kids were bussed in from all sorts of council estates. But sure don’t let facts stop you spouting absolute shite.

I completely get why Geoff Parling was annoyed here. TNT had no clearance for this and he’s protecting his players but I don’t think he should have shoved Craig Doyle like that. Whether you think Doyle is annoying or not, I don’t think that’s right.
