@RealDuckMaster @NoncoDucks Space. Sometimes listening to different prospectives from ur “share holders” aka magic token holders might go a long way. I know few people who left ducks because of that aspect of the project. Anyways #DucksFlyTogether hope u and urs doing well. Not selling my ducks

Ron is a great person, and I’m only quoting this because it reflects a feeling that has become very common : the demonization of founders. I’ve been in this space for five years. I’ve launched multiple projects. Some did better than others. And yes, so far I have failed at fully returning holders’ effort in the way I would have wanted. I think about that constantly. One of the hard truths is that if a vision isn’t big enough, it simply doesn’t capture attention in such a tiny market. That’s why in 2021 everyone wanted to be the next Disney. But building something at that scale often requires 100x the funds raised in a mint. And a portion of those funds frequently ends up being used just to attract more buyers or to entertain holders in the meantime. It’s true this space has had grifters who minted and disappeared with millions. But it’s also true that the success rate of NFT projects is far smaller than even traditional startups , with the added distortion that success or failure is often judged only by floor price. Founders are also often unprepared for the wide range of skills the role demands. And yes, many hide problems when things get difficult. But most don’t do it because they don’t care, they do it because making certain issues public can be 100 times worse than trying to fix them quietly. In 2021, our contract was hacked in the middle of a mint. If I had told the NoncoDucks community that in real time, the project would have never existed. In Venues in 2025, during a presidential transition, bar construction costs doubled. The “evil founders” covered the difference with personal money to keep promises. There are things even worse I don’t share , not because I’m hiding, but because sharing them would cause panic and damage projects further. In five years, I haven’t stepped away even for a day. I haven’t taken significant money out of projects. In some cases, I’ve put hundreds of thousands of my own money in. I understand where the frustration comes from. But many times, founders are villains in a story that’s missing most of the pages.
Ron@ronawaysparks

Been thinking about this a-lot lately especially in terms of NFT founders. They are present to grab our money then nonexistent and secretive afterwards. They are loud and boisterous with many “hidden” promises then silent. They ask you for your money then tell you, you want a free lunch.

Did you know every Duck Club participation earns you points based on performance? This applies to both Ducks and the wallets sponsoring them. And what are those points for? They will determine your token allocation when we launch $CLUB. “Oh great… another useless token. We already have $QKS.” Wrong. $CLUB will be backed by the Year Pot : 2.5% from all fights at TGE. After TGE, that same 2.5% continues feeding the system through buybacks and burns. In simple terms: The more Ducks fight the bigger the prize pools the larger the Year Pot the stronger the token backing the more OG and HELL collections get swept the more valuable every asset in the ecosystem becomes. Tokenomics working for the project, not against it. Told you this was going to be a fun year.

For years, I fought against market trends. Now I understand : it’s adapt or die. That’s why we’re having fun with the Duck Club Rumbles at @NoncoDucks . And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a 4 month plan behind all of this.

the same is happening across basically every cultural aspect of crypto for example, just the last few weeks: decentralized social networks like farcaster, lens are struggling, teams departing while FOMO, which is just a crypto social app, has been hitting new highs what's the difference? one is trying to offer you Twitter/X but on decentralized rails, and unfortunately it looks like people don't really care about that the other is trying to network the people who are here around something they already care deeply about: tokens, and seeing who is winning and losing trading tokens. these days 'crypto' doesn't primarily mean decentralization, immutable ownership, censorship resistance etc. like it or not, it means tokens. the sooner you admit that, the sooner you can get to building the thing that will gain traction, and grow your crypto game or metaverse accordingly. that doesn't mean decentralization, immutable ownership, and censorship resistance aren't important. those are all super important things for tokens to be successful! but your successful crypto game won't look just like the web2 version but with decentralized rails. if it's going to be successful in crypto, it has to be much more interesting than that. (have very specific ideas on how to do this with Otherside FWIW)
