When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t. Our governments are to blame, not the old.

On BBC news now the TOP 3 news stories are ALL about a SINGLE US pilot who was illegally bombing Iran. They didn't give a fraction of this coverage to 185 KIDS murdered by the USA. This isn't news, it is blatant and sickening propaganda for war and the USA.

As an Iranian watching this rescue mission unfold, I was praying the American pilot would make it out alive, not just for him, but so the Islamic Republic could not use him as a bargaining chip or claim some twisted “victory.” At the same time, I felt a deep envy. Your government sent elite special forces, million-dollar aircraft, and moved heaven and earth to bring one American home. No hesitation. No excuses. In Iran, the regime uses human shields and recruited child soldiers to clear minefields during the Iran-Iraq war. They treat their own people like disposable tools. They are now recruiting child soldiers as we speak. The Islamic Republic has zero regard for human life. That’s the brutal difference. One side risks everything to save their own. The other sacrifices their own to stay in power. This hits hard when you have lived under both realities.

I went into Pret-a-Manger in London to buy my breakfast & was shocked Handed over a tenner & the server took 30 seconds to check it for being fake. The man was chasing and assaulting the Thai woman. He started beating her standing, knocking her to the floor. People nearby told him to stop, but he didn't. He continued beating her for nearly another minute, until the situation progressed to what is shown in the video. And yes, he deserved a construction brick. The person who used the brick to strike the vicious blow, was another Thai woman who had been watching the whole incident. She opened his head up, then casually walked away.
