Farage’s career won’t survive this. I always thought it would. But it’s clear now he is done. The only question is will he take the whole of Reform down with him?

🚨Dozens of migrants queue up in Hardelot France for taxis to the beach. French Coastguard stands watching as they prepare to cross to Britain. Labour’s open border policy keeps rewarding this invasion.

At the end of the trial, the judge praised how the two convicted rapists had conducted themselves: ‘You have done very well…’ He then let them off with a ‘rehabilitation order’. It was a disgrace. It wasn’t justice for the victims and their families. If you rape girls, brandish a knife, film it for sport - premeditated - you should go to prison. For a very long time. What message does this send to rapists? This insulting lenient ‘sentence’ must be overturned. The suitability of the judge who made this perverse decision must be reviewed by the Lady Chief Justice. It shows the rot that’s set in our criminal justice system. The Justice Secretary’s plan to create a softer route through the criminal justice system for those under 25 is mistaken. It will only encourage more of this. And David Lammy proposes raising the age of criminal responsibility to 14. That would have meant, for example, the killers of Jamie Bulger escaping prison altogether. No. Those who commit the most despicable - evil - crimes must go to jail. For punishment. For public protection. For justice. It’s as simple as that.

Reform is proposing the deportation of 2 million people - including people legally here. "Politically it feels quite clever doesn't it," says Trevor Phillips, and leads a discussion that revolves entirely around whether it is affordable and practical. These are people who sweep our streets, look after disabled people, keep the care sector functioning. People who work incredibly hard and are invariably very badly paid. People who have families, lives, hopes, dreams. Without whom the economy simply wouldn't function. This country has arrived at an appalling place.

One of the Flotilla leaders is coming to the UK soon. He was recently sanctioned by the US for links to Hamas. He should NOT be allowed into this country. Especially at a time when Jews are being murdered and attacked. @ShabanaMahmood @Keir_Starmer

The Sewage Doesn't Lie. Polly Toynbee Said So. In 2010, Polly Toynbee wrote in the Guardian that the census was missing millions of people and that Britain had no reliable idea of how many people actually lived here. Her evidence? Sewage. Thames Water, she explained, could calculate true population numbers from outflow data regardless of who was registered, who had filled in a form, or who the authorities knew about. The sewage doesn't discriminate. It counts everyone. In Slough alone, she reported, Thames Water's data revealed 30,000 more people than officially registered. She was making the argument that inner city constituencies were being underfunded because the state couldn't count its own population. She was right. Fifteen years later, Thames Water commissioned a study using precisely that methodology. The results were obtained by the Telegraph under freedom of information. The study estimated that up to 585,000 people are living illegally in the London water supply zone. Nationally, the figure exceeds one million. David Wood, the former Director General of Immigration Enforcement at the Home Office, told the Home Affairs Select Committee the same thing in 2017, before the Channel crossing surge had even begun. Since 2018, over 200,000 people have arrived by small boat alone, with a removal rate of just 4 percent. The methodology Toynbee championed in 2010 to argue for more funding for Labour inner city seats has produced a number the Guardian would never publish. The sewage still doesn't lie. It has simply started telling a different story. This matters for several reasons. The official population figures used to allocate public services, draw constituency boundaries and calculate per capita spending are wrong. They have been wrong for years and the undercounting runs in one direction only. The people not on the register, not in the census, not in the ONS migration statistics, are overwhelmingly concentrated in the cities and inner suburbs that have absorbed the largest numbers of unregistered arrivals. The schools that are overflowing, the GP surgeries that cannot cope, the housing that is unaffordable: these are not random failures of public administration. They are the predictable consequence of a population that the state either cannot or will not count honestly. The political class that calls concerned citizens far-right for raising these questions has known about the undercounting problem for at least fifteen years. Toynbee's 2010 piece was not a fringe complaint. It was a mainstream left-wing argument made in Britain's most prominent left-wing newspaper, citing official ONS data, Thames Water analysis and the testimony of sitting MPs. The numbers were smaller then. The methodology was the same. What has changed is not the tools for counting. What has changed is what the counting reveals. In 2010 it revealed underfunded Labour constituencies. In 2026 it reveals a population of over a million people living here without authorisation, in a country whose government describes 171,000 net migration as a secure Britain and calls anyone who disagrees a bigot. Polly Toynbee was right in 2010. The sewage doesn't lie. She just didn't anticipate where the truth would eventually lead. theguardian.com/commentisfree/… "The study estimated that up to 585,000 people are living illegally in the London water supply zone. Congratulations, Britain – you’ve just “welcomed” another 435 fighting-age men straight into a former RAF base at Wethersfield. These aren’t families fleeing war. No women, no children, no elderly – just 435 military-age males from Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Iraq and Ecuador, all housed at taxpayer expense while British families are told there’s “no money” for housing, NHS waiting lists or winter fuel payments. The bill for the next 12 months alone? A staggering £46.11 million. That’s roughly £106,000 per man per year – or about £290 per day – covering accommodation, security, food, healthcare, utilities, admin and endless contractor profits. All paid for by you: the hardworking British taxpayer who already struggles with sky-high energy bills, council tax and rents. Meanwhile our own veterans sleep rough, young couples wait years for a council flat, and pensioners choose between eating and heating. Yet Keir Starmer’s government keeps the doors wide open, turning a historic airbase into a migrant processing centre while pretending the small-boat crisis is under control. This isn’t compassion. It’s national self-sabotage on an industrial scale. Every pound spent here is a pound stolen from British communities. Every man housed here is one more strain on our already collapsing services, one more risk to women and girls in nearby towns, and one more step towards turning quiet Essex villages into unrecognisable enclaves. The British people never voted for this. We never asked to become Europe’s soft-touch hotel for military-age males who show zero intention of ever going home. The cost is obscene, the priorities are inverted, and the betrayal is total. Are you happy for your taxes to be spent this way? Because the rest of us are furious. Time to shut the gates, scrap the asylum hotel racket and put British citizens first – before another £46 million, then another, and another disappears down this black hole. Enough is enough

He said he would freeze council tax He said he would lower energy bills He said he would reduce student tuition fees He said he would support farmers He said he would protect pensioners He said he would support the disabled He said he would help small businesses He said he would fix the economy He said he would overhaul the immigration system At every turn, he’s done precisely the opposite. Keir Starmer is the ultimate traitor and the most hated PM of all time.

Labour has announced that the 5p cut on fuel duty will be extended for the rest of the year. I know a lot of my constituents are feeling cost-of-living pressures, so I’m pleased this government is keeping pump prices down in response.
