He introduced Sam to the recruiter that staffed the team. Templar is being renamed to Teutonic. Const is back in control of the tech. The new roadmap. • 1 billion parameter model. Training as we speak. • 30 billion parameter model in a fraction of the time • 72 billion. Already done on old Templar. • 1 trillion parameter model. The endgame. For context. • Templar took 3 months to hit 1B. • Teutonic is doing it in a week. • Templar took a full year to hit 30B. • Teutonic is targeting 1 month. New eval mechanism too. The old Templar setup forced everyone onto the same hardware. The new one turns every model update into a competition between miners. Faster. More efficient. Scales to 1 trillion. Meanwhile. Sam Dare is out raising money again. After selling $10M of his own bags. Claiming innovation on a codebase Const literally gave him. Const's response. "Unbelievable fraudster." The cold key for Subnet 3 is still with Sam. Const has been very clear. Do not stake into Subnet 3 in its current state. This is why a fork is probably coming. (unconfirmed) A lot of people think Templar rugging is a stain on Bittensor. It's not. A rugged Solana token doesn't invalidate Solana. A subnet dev exiting doesn't invalidate the protocol. The code is open source. The incentive mechanism worked. The team is still building. Bittensor is the S&P 500 of subnets. You don't put all your money in one stock. You don't put all your money in one subnet. TAO is barely down on the month. So is every AI crypto. Zoom out. The comeback is already being built. And almost nobody is paying attention yet.

@Barbarian7676 @here4impact @bittingthembits How would this affect you with 125 if former "EnC" would like to takeover your subnet? He could put you in a war chair, just for you to keep your subnet. You wouldnt come out loosing cash anyway, and you could spin up a new sn ofc. I don't think the EnC has those intentions tho

AFAIK no, it does not. The owner is whoever has the highest "CONVICTION" EMA value every 30 days. This also encourages whales to buy more heavily in subnets with high liquidation prices relative to current token price, again harming new subnets a bit. It does take in past "CONVICTION" into account, but it's with a 30 day EMA. So a large whale can't just buy in and instantly take over, it would a number of weeks.

To use the jargon of the day: Mantis built “auto research” but for trading signals. Basically an optimization game where agents submit signals, those signals are measured for their information-theoretic value and those aggregate into a meta trading model. Because it’s permissionless (any one can contribute from anywhere without asking) you can have ML agent or their operators play the game simultaneously To double down further, it’s incentivized: meaning they can get paid doing it and the best contributors to the “auto research” are paid in ownership of the mechanism that produced the research. Then also, anyone can transfer that too cause it’s on a blockchain. Which means your auto research is freedom technology aside from being cool AF. Btw ps this was made by a 14 year old.

Yes, $TAO is on its way to becoming a fully decentralized protocol, with everything in motion to achieve that by the end of 2026. But in the meantime, there’s no one better to guide Bittensor than Const. A true leader. Respect.

Wow. It appears Chutes subnet has the decentralized training of models MUCH larger than Templar's 72B already cracked (they know how to do it) and coming soon (!)

"But Bittensor doesn't really do anything..." Most companies or crypto projects struggle to be the world's best at 1 thing. In just over a year, Bittensor has become the world's best at over a dozen things. And I've most likely missed a few subnets here. Bittensor is the Nasdaq of distributed decentralising AI... For me, it's literally a candy shop of some of the brightest minds out there building cool stuff. And all it takes is just 1 out of 128 subnets to achieve Product Market Fit and make hefty revenues and it will drag the price of TAO up. Because it will attract buyers into that subnet, but the only way to buy that subnet token is to first buy TAO and then swap it for that subnet token. Ethereum missed a trick here. ETH was never needed (other than gas fees) or linked to an ERC-20 project that mooned. With Bittensor, when you buy a subnet token, you're not selling TAO, you're temporarily swapping it...

This is a terrible post imo. "Sorry token went down, the other guy is a psychopath". Bizarre We always thought Bittensor was a really interesting project but had two issues - nothing that tangible was really happening on it and if it did, is the incentive mechanism in place to keep it there. Templar solved the first concern we had but unfortunately proved the second is still a big issue.
