New creators just focus on getting your reps in and gaining experience. Your content will improve with each edit and collaboration. Your negotiation skills will improve. You’ll learn how to navigate conversations. It’s a numbers game. The more intentional experience. The more time put in, the better your content will be and the better it will perform. Then you can start raising those rates according with your experience.

I witnessed a new creator publicly share how disappointed they were with how slow things were for them to then having 3 booked deals within 7 days of that post. Whatever you do just don’t give up.

Just powered through that brutal super flu! It knocked me out for weeks, but I’m finally back and feeling like myself again! Sif and I are back in the backyard creating fresh videos, I'm very excited to get back to a real routine! Portfolio in bio if you want to take a peek!

@creatordamon mentioned that he records all of his voiceovers as talking heads. I wish all creators did this! If b-roll is lacking, it’s always good to have the option of going back to the talking head. We do raw collabs (to create one video) and sometimes creators send voice files and b-roll clips. But if the b roll clip is wrong or simply not long enough to match the voiceover line. We have to ask them to send more b roll clips. If we had the talking head file, we wouldn’t need to bother you asking for more clips.
