The moment I started having fun with food content, everything changed. Coming up with concepts for this paid shoot, I had to pause for a second. Not because it was hard, but because I realized this is what I’ve been working toward. Being able to create freely and turn something as simple as food into something people actually feel. I tested a game show concept, an “ugly ad” angle, and even played with an ASMR-style sound idea. It made me realize how much I care about creating around food in a way that feels nourishing, not just visually appealing, but something that shifts how people connect with what they’re eating. I’m really grateful to work with a brand that values that, and gives me the space to actually have fun with the creative. That combination changes everything about the final result. Just had a TikTok video I did for @factormeals hit 1M views. I’m assuming that it’s converting because it seems they are still putting money behind it after 3+ weeks. I haven’t been able to get any info from messaging them so I’ll just take it as a win. 😉#ugccreator #ugc

@ugc_sarahd It depends on so much. Is there a script from the brand where it’s necessary? Is it supposed to be an organic concept? Can the messaging be thoroughly clear without using it? There’s no right or wrong depending on the context imo.

One thing I’ve heard a creator say is to NOT mention the brand name in your UGC videos/scripts to make the video feel more natural/real😮 What do you think?! Brand name or no brand name in scripts?

Heavy shoot day, here’s my plan: —write out all scripts —dance break —shoot 3x videos for different brands in same shirt —snack + edit and send all three —waking break —shoot 4x vids for different brands but same concept —big mealtime —edit and send all 4 Wish. Me. Luck.

Totally see your point! Imo the $10K represents the number for most people to live life comfortably. Most creators in the space are parents or supporting themselves solo - and the number is just what most feel they need for a comfy life! I know for myself personally - rent, car payment, grocery’s, insurance etc added up quite a bit so 10K gave me a lot of security! Not to mention that 10K less taxes and what not is not actually 10K in your pocket at the end of the month. So all things considered it’s actually roughly 6-7K. Just my thoughts :)

I saw @creatordamon post a while ago on this topic but I’m seeing it SO much on IG lately… When did $10k a month doing UGC become the goal or norm?😵‍💫 Like some of us just wanna pay our bills or have a little extra cash Filmed a video on this but idk if it’s a hot take or not

@sociallykennedy @creatordamon I’ve been thinking about this so much! In the whole month of April I made what some are making in one deal, yet I couldn’t be happier about it! A 10k month will never realistically be my goal & I’m okay with that! It’s all about perspective!!

UGC example #198 I keep saying—CREATE content about YOU. Doors will open. I got invited to a local creators event because they love what I create. UGC isn’t everything. There’s more doors. There’s more streams of income. Don’t shortchange yourself as a CREATOR🙏🏾

@ugcwithjustin I mean like either I’m shooting all 4x vids as a walking angle or a car concept or even a skit…. I chose the car. But it helps me maintain high level efficiency with batch recording.

@creatordamon What do you mean by shoot 4 vids for different brands but it’s all the same concept? Did you just plan that yourself when you were scripting for all 4 so that you could bang them all out at the same time?
