I've not played #TheSims4 since the Hobbies update. I was thinking about getting back into it this weekend but judging by the comments here I see it's still a mess. Might wait until after the final FINAL update and just start from there. Whenever that is.

The Sims 1 of course! I was a little late to the game though. I did start with The Sims 1 but not until it's PS2 release in the 2000's. I've played every sims game on both PC and console since. #TheSims #TheSims4

@fableSimmer I've been playing sims for a years and had no idea you could place builds from the world screen 😂 You could have told me this was a mod or a new feature and I would have believed you.

If you're placing builds from the world screen map then you're a brave soldier and maybe a little psycho 😂. It's way quicker to go into the lot and doing it this way is known for potentially taking what seems like forever.

@lowpolypancake I'm on Windows 10 and I've been noticing a little bit of this too, but only on community lots or on a home business. All other lots are smooth as butter but as soon as I go to any type of community lot, regardless of how detailed or sparsely decorated it is it starts jumping.

(1/4) I realized what's causing The Sims 4 to be pretty laggy even when the game says it's running above 60 fps. It's a feature called "Optimizations for windowed games in Windows 11". Here's a comparison of it in slow mo. Notice how less jumpy the camera is with it disabled.

Is it safe to use Residential Rentals or not? A lot of people say they cause corruption yet they're all top rated on the Gallery? ‼️‼️‼️ I AM CONFUSED ‼️‼️‼️ #TheSims4

@TheKixg I remember people saying the exact same thing about Sims 2 when Sims 3 was still being updated 😂

The Sims 3 is the last true Sims game we'll ever get. The graphics and Sims don't look the best, but with mods they can look great. For me, gameplay is more important than graphics. I'll take the depth of The Sims 3 over the beautiful shallow Sims of The Sims 4 any day.

@SimsLifeStory @TwistedMexi I didn't know that you could place objects outside the lots with t.o.o.l I'm going to have to spend 2 more years on my renovation to also do the exterior now 😭 your work is incredible ✨

An updated tour of my Foundry Cove. I used @TwistedMexi 's T.O.O.L mod to decorate my favourite area of the game. I've posted a couple of tours in the past but I've added a lot more to it since.

@HOPEMlNT @TwistedMexi That's exactly what I do. Load into a lot, and place the items around the 'hood. Anything placed off the lot will be seen by all other lots.
