Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) voted NO on advancing the SAVE America Act, a critical measure to require proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration and safeguard our elections from non-citizen voting. Her excuse? She claims it would disenfranchise too many rural Alaskans who supposedly can't get the necessary documents. Yet she admits she supports voter ID in principle, only not when it actually gets implemented to protect the integrity of our votes.
