@GamerQueenDiana Nope, want to try again or should I tell you?
Explore, Build, 7, Blood.... :)

@SwarmMeGame That actually sounds great! What do we call our conglomerate?
English

@swarmoclock I think we need to find 5-10 devs with small communities and dump them into big pile, higher chance on finding playtesters as a team rather than alone :)
English

@SwarmMeGame Oh, I missed discord :D. Maybe I’d pick that too, dunno yet, especially if a couple folks there stream/post
English

@swarmoclock I see, two is manageable, but you mostly just prototype while finishing main project, and when it's done then jump to the next game, or you develop 2 full games at the same time and just redirect your attention where it's most needed?
English

@SwarmMeGame 2 guys me included. We switch based on the priorities, but there’s always one main thing going on and urgent activities on the second game
English

@swarmoclock How big is your team? And do you have devs working across multiple projects, or keep them more isolated per game?
English

@SwarmMeGame We are, the games are in different stages. I don’t have a great insight for you, except it’s nice to have multiple shots and learn fast. Our 1st game didn’t get attention fast — fine, we had the 2nd one prototyped, and we kept experimenting on the 1st one at the same time
English

@swarmoclock I would probably go with active discord users - always have trouble finding playtesters and from 200 active users 10% should be available to try new builds and give quality feedback :)
English

@SwarmMeGame I’d pick YT I think — I understand these are most committed compared to other platforms. And you can show these people your next games. Your take?
English

@sensational965 In my spare time I'm trying to find someone to play the games I make - the most fun is watching other play your game :)

@callme_siya_ First thing my mind dropped on me was 'wow, cool airplane' cloud.

@halenhargreevs From childhood: Elite, Laser Squad, Kings Bounty, Warlord, Sid Meiers Pirates!
From teenage years: Dune 2, X-Com, Privateer, Civilization, Heroes of Might and Magic.
From 30s: Risen, Two Worlds, Fallout, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Venetica
More to come :)
English

@GreyNovGames It really comes down to expectations. A quick look at how many games even make $100 on Steam already puts things into perspective about the odds.
English

@IzJarvisGaming Thanks! How you feel about this kind of gathering/building/defending loop.
Thinking of focusing on aerial enemy attacks since most tower defense games lean heavily on ground units.
English

@BeanJuiceStudio As a hardcore RPG player I would max out Design to 10, the rest would have to battle through in hard mode :)
English

@sensational965 Swarm Me was inspired by the late-round experience of Kino der Toten from Call of Duty: Black Ops, where survival depends more on movement, positioning, and environmental traps rather than shooting alone.
Only played from top down view and mechanical enemies instead of zombies.
