A while back I said I was starting a deathcore band. I did it. 2 songs down, and writing the third. Still working through the recording process to get some content out, but if you’re into metal follow us on instagram at @eschaterra

@jeenicaaa Licensed plumber here. Can confirm this is trash. Most of these fixes are more work than actually fixing it.
English

@GreyNovGames Man, the beginning of a game is so exciting. Have fun!
English

@80Level Sounds like fun!
*Time to summon some indie devs!

@RomireTV Don’t give up, you can always apply and move on. (I’m sure it’s disheartening though) the good news is I’ve had a lot of fun watching your stream, so you have what it takes. Just keep going! Before you know it you’ll be the one rejecting devs!
English

@rotub It’s not enough to get me to quit, but it’s certainly an experience.
English

@GreyNovGames So scary 😬 but actually releasing a game is so impressive, you're already in the minority in my books!

@KryyssX @Protasavage Thanks a bunch for the feedback/info. I’ll do some digging on see what I can do.
English

@GreyNovGames @Protasavage I would say stick with Rogue Night and get some tuning done. If you want some long-term QA assistance, I'm happy to help.
Since I don't know what kind of experience you want to create, I can only suggest starting players in that town, not the forest and add early-game crafting.
English

@Trogdor645 Thanks, definitely not giving up. Just saying that I understand why people do.
English

@GreyNovGames Hey just seeing your game for the first time today. You can still take pride in your work, whether you keep working on it or apply it to the next game is up to you, but I dont think the takeaway is to give up.
English

@KryyssX @Protasavage I’ve got an idea of what’s going on. And to be fair, I’m not in it for the money. I do it because I love to make games.
English

@GreyNovGames @Protasavage Time for a post-mortom. Hopefully, you built in some analytics to pinpoint retention loss, or else you're going to need to watch streams to eye-ball the problems. Having a high Wishlist but low sales may just suggest you missed the gravy train.
English

@Bumble_Oni Thanks for the support, and thanks for the wishlist. Shoot me a DM if you get the chance.
English

@GreyNovGames I'm sorry to hear this, money is kind of tight at the moment but I wishlisted it. I know that doesn't help, but it does honestly look like a good game that I will check out when I can
English

@KryyssX Very true! I didn’t expect a breakout success, but now I see why a lot of people drop off after the first game.
English

@GreyNovGames None of the indie successes like Toby Fox or Ed McMillan went into publishing on their first game. They were doing game dev for decades before trying to create a commercial product. Toby, for example, had been working on ROM hacks for years before attempting Undertale.
